What pissed me off about this scene is that Clint didn't invite her over for Christmas. Florence probably had scheduling conflicts. Then again, Marvel has been making very questionable decisions. Inviting Yelena to Christmas would have given her closure. Clint's son is named after Natasha; Nathaniel. His daughter referred to Black Widow as Aunty Nat in Age of Ultron. She was a member of the Barton family. It was a missed opportunity for Yelena to really know how much her sister was loved and who loved her.

I get this scene is meant to be an emotional battle, but I still would’ve loved to see a true matchup between Yelena and Clint. Seeing a black widow (who’s not Nat) go against one of the most deadliest assassins on the planet in Clint would’ve been great to see. They had to deal with others in their previous fight in Episode 4. A 1v1 would’ve been so hype to see.

Nat’s goal wasn’t saving the world, that was just something that also would happen, she was saving her sister. The last memories Yelena had of Nat were good and happy ones. His last memory of Nat was seeing her plummet to her death. She may have needed closure over Nat’s death because she got the wrong information but nothing will ever change that Clint will always carry seeing that.
