V6 for me. VQ is proven for reliability, my parents had a Murano and aside from the known CVT issues, the motor had 300k miles until it was T-boned. With the 9 speed, this solved solved most of the QX60's problems. They should have added a hybrid motor in the transmission instead and they would've had a solid competitor. I have a VR30 Q50 and that has its reliability issues, so I can only imagine how a smaller motor with complex variable compression, turbo, in a heavier vehicle will perform in the long term.

In the QX80 they dropped the V8 for a V6 but there's more HP more torque. In the QX60 they dropped V6 for V4 there's less HP more torque. The numbers don't add up for what you're getting. V6 for me!

I don’t get all the fuss. We have a 25 turbo luxe right now and as a family of 6 we absolutely love it. My wife and kids enjoy being comfortable and feeling like we have something really nice to ride in going forward.

Your car will be fine. Just let it run a couple of minutes when you get home to cool down the turbocharger, change the oil every 5000 miles or less, and be easy on the gas with occasional hard accelerations to clean out the carbon and it’ll last for years without replacement of the turbocharger

Also, they need to offer the 2nd row captains chairs in the Sensory. Having to go all the way up to the Autograph to get 2nd row buckets really sucks.

Great review Anthony. It was a really good comparison. As much as I love my ride I dislike the turbo lag and would have preferred the 6 cylinder. I don't understand why infiniti did not stick with the hybrid but I'm sure they had a good reason. How are you all doing? Did they get the power on yet? I think that is great that you be looking at generators. Generac seems to be the best one that I've checked out. Hopefully things will start to dry out there more and more and I'm sure clean up is already happening. It got up to 102 today and they're saying 80s by next week and great cool nights. Thank you James. Yeah I don’t think I will go back to Infiniti for my next vehicle but we will see how this turns out in the next coming years. Thanks for sharing I will look into that, still no power over 48 hours now and signal is very bad I’m using Isa t-mobile as Verizon has not worked at all. That’s hot I hope it gets to those cool temps for you guys. No rain here which is great and the temps are still ok so even without electric we are ok. Happy Friday James

Waiting to see what engine options will be available for the QX65. I will not buy if it is the 4 banger. Have a QX70 with 160k miles and looking for a replacement but nothing is exciting except the Cayenne.

I purchased a 22 qx60 autograph for the quilted chestnut interior along with the V6 and 9speed. In 2025, I'd be looking at an Acura mdx with the new touch screen. Sorry, infiniti- no turbo 4 for me.

This thing should have a turbo or naturally aspirated V6. Putting a 2.0 liter 4 banger in this thing has totally ruined it.

I was just shopping these & opted for the 24 w the V6. I think these heavy cars with the smaller turbo engines will constantly be under boost which isn’t great for long term durability. I also don’t like the idea of variable compression. Benefit isn’t worth the complexity. My understanding is actuators lift the crown of the piston. If that malfunctions you’re prob better off replacing the engine rather than trying to fix that.

Bought a 2024 Autograph in April. Hurricane flooded it. Buying another 24 from out of state rather than a 4 cyl turbo. Vehicle is simply too big for a 4 with turbo.

Weird the QX50 comes stock with 19s and the QX60 only gets 18s. They look tiny.

@@pegcity4eva they do this so it’s a smoother drive. The qx50 is the more sporty looking so that’s why they go large wheel.
