Great video. Good to see Glenn feeling well and back with the group. Good to see he has battle buddies like you all helping fight the battle. Continued prayers for his health. That knife scale material that Eric said he thought Spyderco has as well is called Raffir Noble. It’s on their Chaparral Raffir Noble model. It’s a good looking knife. Its from their Taiwan made line of knives..🥴 Spyderco production lines are: Golden, CO USA Seki-City, Japan Maniago, Italy Tiachung, Taiwan (Unknown city), China

@@theknifedoctor…👍🏼👍🏼….I was referring to the first Bulldog knife Eric was showing. He made comment about the handle material with the gold lines in it being similar to a knife Spyderco makes. That knife is the Spyderco Chaparral Raffir Noble (made in Taiwan). That handle material is called raffir noble.

The company was said to have gotten rid of experienced staff that would take care of the hardening process of the blades. … maybe somebody else could chime in and tell me if I got my memory right on that.!?! What I have is what made lately during the camillus years…( for better or worse).

Hello Fellas! A little more on James Parker who owned the W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery till 1990,, The Case Classics of 1988 till 1998 was not made in the Case Cutlery facilities, they where made on contract for James Parker in this time period by Queen Cutlery for Jim Parker. Case will not fix them nor will Queen they are gone now as we know. These knives had their own warrantee by Queen not Case.

Jim Parker bought the Bulldog brand in 1991 from it's founder Charlie Dorton he produced the first Bulldog brand in 1978 in the Friedrich Olbertz Factory in Solingen Germany. None of the Bulldog brand knives where sold or shipped to the U.S. till it's second generation from late 1987 till 1992; Second generation when Jim Parker bought them in 1991 till 2008; Third generation 1993 till 1995; this generation ended the 2 dogs fighting tang stamp, Forth generation from 1996 till early 2000 Jim Parker commissioned an artist to draw "Lucky" Mrs. Parkers purple ribbon American pit bull terrier, this drawing appeared on the new bulldog knives trademark in 1996. . 5th generation 2000 till 2003; the double dog head stamp was introduced on the tangs. 2004 Silver anniversary the this is the year the Reintroduction of the "Fighting Dog" tang stamp25 year-Silver anniversary of Bulldog brand knives. In 2005 - 2008; February of 2005. Bulldog brand knives retired the double doghead tang stamp, and replaced it with a single fighting bulldog stamp. A trademark has to be used every few years to keep it active, so a few knives with the rare two "fighting dogs" stamp are released every few years. The Bulldog Brand Knives are 100% Completely hand made in Solingen Germany by Master Cutlers. each carbon steel blade is individually hammer-forged with 240 hand operations going into each knife, then each blade is reverse frost etched with the double dog head logo. Nickle silver pins and shield, and brass liners add to the top quality craftsmanship. Sixth Generation - 2009 to present; Bulldog Brand U.S.A. Knives are being manufactured by Great Eastern Cutlery in Titusville, PA and models are produced by Queen Cutlery in Titusville, PA. Bulldog brand Knives are high quality knives, made in the U.S.A., that carry on the Bulldog Brand Legacy. Sounds a little confusing Aye Fellas?? lol
