Better Plastic Part Design in SOLIDWORKS

Learn techniques for designing molded parts in SOLIDWORKS, starting with when to use a Solid modeling approach and when to consider using Surfaces. Workflows will be presented for developing editable models that properly maintain draft. Specific plastic part fastening and support features such as lip and groove, ribs, snap hook and boss will be discussed - as well as when a “master model” approach should be considered. Relevant for plastic injection molding, casting, die cast and more manufacturing methods.
