We’re getting to the point now where the advanced tricks are getting easier/aren’t as fun for people to watch, but the vertical and the original flat ground stuff is where the sauce is. It’s crazy seeing it come full circle. I never thought I’d see the day. I thought skating as a professional sport was going to die at one point. People are starting to appreciate a nicely strung together set now without having to go Redbull overboard with it. Shoutout Redbull though, no hate here 😂

I love the drop in stories, brought back Prahran ramp memories, my apologies in advance if this is inappropriate along with my approval for it's removal☯ I tried to drop in on that 13 ft metal monster and I just wish it was recorded cos it sounded like it looked sick from what I was told. I had been skating it and getting up into the vert section and turning successfully, I started skating at Prahran bowl/ramp park in like 1987 age 8 and this story took place in mid 90's like 94/95 feels about right. I knew how to drop in on mini ramps so I was like ok lets try conquer this fear. I padded up but didn't have a helmet put my board in place and went for it, I didn't lean forward enough and from what I was told I did a manual down the transition and as soon as I hit the flat got thrown onto my back and slammed my head into the ramp thus cementing my skating to simple street skating, simple as in easy tricks, transport and cruising. @JasonEllis congrats bro on everything you've achieved and I can confirm the hair was glorious 😉
