Tony, from age 12-21 I skated religiously, it helped me get through the worst of times, brought me some of my greatest memories and a community of friends and fellow maniacs that is irreplaceable. But in 2011 I got majorly injured to the point where i could no longer do any tricks and it became too risky as a bail could make me even more disabled. So i swore off skating and all my dangerous hobbies for near a decade. However… my health problems continued to progress despite these efforts(I now have a feeding tube and upwards of 20+ surgeries). Considering Im screwed either way, I recently started revisiting my old action sports ways, I cant do what i used to, but what little i can do brings me the greatest joy I can find. Its inspired me(and my also disabled partner) to start the “Chronic Illness Bucket List” where I revisit old hobbies and things that seem impossible but find a way to do them anyway. However i don’t have a skateboard and being disabled, I don’t really have the money to buy one. Especially since I need a proper FAT old school skate setup (so i have least chance of falling off). I know this contest is for your sick HvW boards but… Could you make an exception and do me a massive favor by hooking me up with a classic Old School set up? Awesome to see you two can still carry an episode with or without guests. This one is going on the all time favorite lists after that Bob Total finale. Recently drove 20 hours cross country to visit family, straight through and then the return trip a week later. Started the Hawk vs Wolf Spotify playlist at Episode 1 and those things are still treasures years later. Best anti-fatigued driving treatment I've found to date.

Id love another board. My very first board ever was a birdman in the late 90s, still have it, though i broke it. Got lucky enough to meet the birdhouse team, in a mall parking lot at a demo and got photos with tony and bucky. Glad i found this podcast so i can keep up with tony, and glad to see ellis back at it! Keep doing you jason! I look forward to listening to every podcast monday mornings while i do my delivery routes at work. Even the tony hawk games, i own them all, they got me through my down time when i shattered my kneecap and had 3 surgeries, and sadly lost the ability to skate ever since. I even still have the ride and shred games with the board controllers. Hes done so much for skateboarding, its been so awesome having him as an ambassador and helping the sport stay alive and get to where its at now and continue. Sad to see it was his last video part, but awesome that we got it and nothing was cut short. Keep being awesome you 2 and keep putting out great content 😁

Seriously ellis may want to hold off on dress wearing for show due to his market public experience. Wait till sobriety gets passed infancy yeah? This deck reminds me of my childhood, as it was my first real skateboard that I learned skateboarding at about age 12 from what I remember.
