I was at the Palladium that night. The Hawks never disappoint as like always the are the alternative not being the same old commercial rubbish. Not their best performance bearing in mind I have been watching them live for 40 years! Hawkwind with a classical twist-well done Captain Brock. Great footage nevertheless, pleased that those who couldn't go can see the performance-the Hawks are not going to be around forever! Happy 49th Anniversary-Keep the faith everyone!!

saw this tonight in Birmingham, fuckin awesome, hats off to the drummer, he has some stamina, never missed a beat all night !!

Same here. I've been a fan for 48 years, seen them I don't know how many times, but this is just crap. I was thinking about getting a ticket for the fiftieth anniversary tour, but I may not bother.

Hawkwind sounds like they have been put back in the system oops I mean shit stem..I think Dave Brock has milked hawkwind songs for years..or bob Calvert songs.. I think it's looks to pretty n contrived..spirit of the age.. Yeah right Dave...

Hawkwind..... Reduced to a "sing-a-long" band for laughs, appearing at Butlins Summer 2019! Truly awful. Please Dave, retire gracefully and leave us with the amazing memories with Mr Langton, Mr Davey, good ol Harvey etc.

@@Meddled Saw their 50th Birthday at Royal Albert Hall and it was very disappointing. Unfortunately Dave Brock burnt all his bridges and where, with a lot of other bands, we could have seen the return of Nik, Alan, Harvey, Simon House, Ron Tree etc, which would have made it a very special night, we had a mediocre performance from a lack lustre band

Jherek Carnelian I think Dave likes yes men in the band. Nik was the heart of the band if Dave was the head and Dave doesn't appear to like dominant or strong characters to share the stage with.
