Waverley was a great ground. If we still had it we could use it as a threat against the MCG when they move out AFL games for soccer. Only reason they got rid of it was because Hawthorn and St Kilda were gaining supporters from the SE southern suburbs and the stronger clubs like Carlton and Collingwog got worried (Elliot and Maguire being prominent people calling for its demolition)
