As a business and IP attorney, most of this video is correct. However if someone files a mark themselves and later wishes to grander to their business, a simple assignment ($40) can be filed. It’s not a big deal and not the most common mistake. (Referring to around the 7:30 point)

Yes, you are correct. I think the mistake I was referring to without rewatching the video is that some people file their trademark under their personal name when they have an LLC. That's a no-no.

I've also been wondering about how licensing agreements work I'm just getting started and I am worried about a public launch because I used a picture from pinterest with my currently suggested logo Granted if I was where I needed to be in business I could just do an agreeable contract but I literally incorporated 2 mths ago so limited funding options, for anything like I.P. attorneys.... what can I do?

Hi if I hire a registered agent like incfile I notice my signature is not needed at all on any documents. For the corporation Incfile signed as the incorporator and as the organizer of the LLC can you explain what that means? Does that mean I have no say so until the year is over?
