Notes on wiring: In this instance, the drop cord (which is classified SO cable) is plugged in to your source and the other end is mounted stationary at it's usage point (heated floor) which is perfectly okay. SO cord is a stranded wire and flexible unlike solid romex, so as long as the gauge is correct for the current capacity it's great for this application however (did you sense a however coming?) As it's the floor, and the camper COULD get moisture due to a wet environment, I would suggest a small male plug end GFCI. They're less than twenty bucks from hardware store or from amazon and could prevent rude unexpected shock therapy. Good luck with your Squatch issue!

Hey man you are funnier than all the videos I’ve watched. I’m building a full size truck camper from scratch and, been at it for two years and still got 3 months of work to finish it. My wife thinks I’m nuts for building it after I suggested building a camper on my Polaris 4 door Northstar she completely lost it. I cured that problem and bought a 2024 Polaris ADV Expedition 4 door. I like what you’ve done and how cool that will be to trailer it out in the northwest to go hunting or fishing in some really cool remote spots. I’m in the Ozark National Forest in Arkansas and have access to a million acres of national forest right out my farm gate. I enjoyed watching your video and, you proved that I’m not the only Nut in this world.lol thank you 22:34

My wife and I are planning an RV conversion and this is the build style I'm considering. I hadn't planned on slides, but it is going to be big enough for a flatbed gooseneck trailer. I want to be able to take the living box off and back on for utility purposes with the trailer, and also utilize the back portion of the flatbed as a porch while camping. I was thinking about splurging for fiberglass outside the insulation, but I'm gonna do some research into rhino coating after seeing your video. Saving your video for clues during my eventual build, thanks!

When I go camping I bought a roll up pad. In between the vinyl cover is foam. When I open the valve, the foam sucks in air. When it’s full of air I close the valve so I have about two inches of padding underneath my sleeping bag. When it’s time to go back home or to the next place I want to sleep, I’ll open the valve and roll up my padding, which forces the air out. Then I just close the valve. Perhaps you could use that for your padding on your bed. Just a thought that perhaps you’ll be able to use in your ATV “camper”.

Interesting concept, I’m honestly surprised we’ve not seen mass produced UTV camper shells yet. I think the only thing I would’ve done differently was to build the bed above the cab like a traditional camper. Although I supposed that does add height and weight stability issues.
