Did I miss a video in the last couple of weeks? Keep seeing congrats to you & Tiffany on your expecting a baby. Saw someone mention that they saw it on Instagram. I don't have Instagram. Did you ever mention it on one of these videos? I remember some teasing on a video when I thought your dad got Sunny. People were commenting about 1st you get a puppy, then you're expecting a baby or having a baby. I knew your folks were beyond having babies. Unless your mom is 20 years younger than Brian. So is Sunny Brian's puppy, or Is he yours & Tiffany's puppy. I see Cole has Sunny with him on the 4 wheeler, in the truck, & in a tractor. Saw the video where Tiffany bought Sunny toys, & I have seen a pen in the barn with Sunny in it. I turned 76 on July 4th, did I loose my memory along with getting a yr. older?

Cole and Brian, some day would you go over the readout information while bailing or planting. Cole said how many bails the bailer said it made, for example, where do you see that information. Where do you see that there is a problem with the machinery? And what are the cables connecting when you plug them in? Love your videos! I’m learning so much about American beef and corn production! Thank you!

The design flaw of those 16’ headers is the circles that feed the outside three ft of cut into the conditioners. The 13’6” headers have the same conditioner rolls without those complications. Think about one of the smaller horsepower (170-200) swathers with a 13’6” disc cutter. Much easier to road between fields also. And much better conditioning.

Thanks for another great video Cole and Brian. Was a pleasure to watch and interesting for sure. Wow. Struggles with both balers today but you and dad got the breakdowns fixed in good time and pressed on with the project. Never seen a bale in back of that bracket on the Deere baler where you had to spike the bale to get it out of there. Most interesting Cole. You got it going again You had trouble with your cutter plugging. Would it help if you cut at a slower speed????!!! The baler Brian is using seems to have an electrical short in a connection of some sort. Maybe you could replace that connection wiring if not to expensive. Just a suggestion to look at. Thanks for a real pleasurable video doing more of your hay work. Hang in there. Thanks Cole and Brian. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.

Next time you update your MoCo, check to see if flail tine conditioning is available. I have that on a 956 pulltype and it is problem free. No worries about stones braking rolls or tearing the rubber off. Selling point for me was grass hay dries faster than with rolls. I mow alfalfa and leaf loss is acceptable to me and my customers. The tines may have been cheaper than rolls but plugging up is next to impossible.

Cole, your swather keeps plugging because you either need to adjust the stripper plate on each side of the rollers or replace it. It shouldn’t ever plug behind the drums. The clearance adjustment should be almost hitting your drum on the corners!

Hey cole and brian! Hook the baler monitor to the starter on the 4050! Not to the one battery. That tractor is still using 6V batteries. To get 12V you need to hook it to the starter as its its 2 6V batteries in series! Hope that helps (we did the same thing on our 4050 with a 688) but that was before i knew better.
