Hay Day - Holiday 2024 Task Event (Explained)

I’m not to happy with this even either! It seems to be geared more towards buying than the fun it use to be…I also think we should be able to purchase from each others farms to fill the orders why make a fun game so complicated? We deal with real life malarkey every day why do I have to wait a whole day for “jelly beans “? REALLY it’s supposed to be funnnnnnn! Not stressful! I think we should be able to sale our decor as well. Just my soap box moment sorry if whined too much just wish some ❤ things were 🎉

This is not fun. They did this before the update and all the tasks take forever. Plus, there is not enough holly. And if you make something off the task list then the next task requires that machine. Plus, our catalog expires and we choose between decos or items we need for the game. They are discouraging players.

I recently started playing hayday. I am currently on level 48 and i don’t have any of the deco available now. Could you suggest me how to spend my holly? What deco is less likely not to appear again in the future?

I can answer that question. If you are earning the holly, it is best to spend it on the decos. The other options in the catalog can be earned doing the routine things in the game, ie derby, valley and special events like global events, this task event and the county event. Many of the decos can come back as deals that takes diamonds to buy. I would base my catalog buying on the decos that take the most holly currency.

@ thanks for the reply. Yes, my goal is to purchase as much as deco as i can. But we only have 1 week and too many decos. I don’t think i will be able to get all of them. So what should i get? Do they all have the same chance of coming back again in the future or is there a specific deco that’s like more exclusive?

It takes too long to get the holly. This is not as fun as the fall event. Progress is too slow with few rewards.
