Great work Carl! Excellent content and love the interplay with Rachel which adds a personal and female touch which makes your channel truly unique. I was a big fan of yours before the public caught on criminally too late in your career. A true warrior with a granite chin, how did you stay standing taking some of those shots from Pascal (incredible fight BTW)? My questions: why did you hold your hands so low? Did you always do that? I'm sure that must have driven a classic coach like Rob totally mad? Knowing what you do now, if you could go back in time and train the young Cobra, what would you concentrate on? You never seemed to get hit much in the body? And never showed any weakness there or at least you had a great poker face. Did anyone really hurt you with a body punch? Sorry, lots of questions... I have plenty more for another time. I'm ex-Marines and had 3 amateur fights at Super-Heavy, 2 tko wins and lost my unit final on points...!

Hard to believe (especially when watching him training) it's 10 years since the 'Cobra' retired. It's nice to see an example of how a man with a natural talent for boxing can, with hard work & dedication, achieve! I love FOF, and think your opinion on all things boxing is most genuine of all similar channels as, you've fought & won at top level, plus you're independent. I feel a bit selfish saying this but, I would love to see you in one more fight: Jake Paul........I've followed boxing for nearly 40 years and all this "youtuber" "misfits" money spinning is getting in the way of real boxing! If people watched an 'elite, Hall of Fame boxer against a social media guy, it would be so one sided that we might start seeing more boxing & less Bo****ks!

Hi, Carl! I read a couple of articles on the internet in the period of Arthur Abraham - George Groves fights that you didn't do weights, but have a bodyweight exercise protocol with press ups, pullups, sit ups and you said that volume equals strength, and heavy weights are not good for boxers as they make you slow, or something like that. I was impressed with your bodyweight protocols of press ups and pullups and discipline doing them 5 times a week, and now you do heavy weights like deadlifts and bench press. Which do you think are better, bodyweight exercises or heavy weights exercises like deadlifts?
@mitch18627 ай бұрын
Body weight if your boxing. He'd do pull ups on monkey bars in a park old school. If you just want to bulk up and aren't to bothered about cardio then do weights like froch is now
