Surveyor has the best interior designer in the RV world. The contemporary color choices are amazingly good. And they carried it thru the whole RV instead of the usual design schizophrenia you get from every other RV brand. Well done!

The bread comment reminded me that microwaves (when not on obviously) are such a good place to store bread. It seems to keep the bread from going bad for a long while. That is what we do in our RV that we live in.

We had a small motor home. We parked it for the winter and couldn’t wait to get to it in the spring. We cleaned it before winter and again in the spring. When I opened the oven in the spring, I found an oven full of bread. Sandwich bread, hotdog buns and hamburger buns. All unopened. They were as soft and fresh as the day I bought them. No mold, nothing. It really was a great place to store the bread! It was the propane oven though, not the microwave. 😂

Hey there, Josh, I do really enjoy the surveyor RVs, especially the ones with a private bedroom. I really appreciate you doing the road mode view, although for me, it really doesn’t make a difference if it’s in road mode or regular mode lol. I will find a workaround, especially if it’s a bathroom.😂. I do very much like the forward kitchens. I just think they make the RVs look really nice. I do agree with you that the chairs probably should be left at home around the bar so that it will open up that space. As for the door in the bedroom, I kinda like it. To me as long as it has a good deadbolt on it I’m good to go. I will say that I really think they need to do the gooseneck drop-down piece for the TV. It always amazes me that they put it so high. you are right about the lack of storage space in the bedroom, but truthfully, how much crap do you need to carry lol. and I do like how the refrigerator and pantry are recessed with the slide. Definitely opens it up. But truthfully, other than that, it’s a pretty nice camper. I do think they need to put the two seat theater seats where that three banger is now. I mean if three people sit on that thing it’s gonna be tight. Not to mention there won’t be any arm risks. Anyway, that’s my take on this camper. Keep Rockin Josh

Have that weird cubby in my kitchen too and use it for a spice cabinet. Found three plastic trays the fit perfectly and that's where my spices go in them.

This is a really nice rig, my personal opinion I would opt for a bar top/desk instead of the dinette but otherwise this is really nice layout. Thanks for another awesome walkthrough Uncle Josh 👍

Riiiight. I camp..basically, I don't live too long in the camper. I love the bedroom windows and storage this way vs. let;s say, a Rockwood, which has that huge double slider closet...which I always think looks like too much closet. BUT, if you need it great, if you don't, well this is really nice! Awww thanks for doing the bathroom squeeze Josh, but Schwintek slide? Meh...nope. I'd consider an Exact or rack and pinion. I think they knew someone could 'do the squeeze' and that's the reason for the bedroom door.

It definitely makes a difference for living space by moving the fridge back, but then missed out on having storage space behind the fridge (either inside or out). I don't like the dead space by the microwave. The door privacy shades should be standard. I'd rather have storage where the stools are. When they're moved out the way (#thanksnerd) you can see how much storage space is missed. I definitely appreciate you giving us a perspective of height and depth using real term, relatable examples (#thanksnerd) Get rid of the 2nd entry door, add storage lol. There could n cupboards or shelves above the bedroom windows, if you want one for the tv, that still leaves one for shelves/cupboard. Great that there's a coffee/phone/book/charging place by the bed. Josh channeling his inner "Miss World" skills to walk upstairs backwards. This wouldn't be my chosen floor plan #nerdherd #rvnerdherd

I like this floorplan, but I really wish they would move the refrigerator flush with the couch to create more outside storage. Love the sofa, and I wish more manufacturers offered this option. I also wish there was more outside storage underneath the bed. This could be my perfect trailer with a small few tweaks. Thanks for a great review and Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Slides are very heavy. The problem with a rear slide is that the extra weight in the rear will make the front end of the trailer lighter, which will in turn make the trailer more susceptible to sway. I learned this lesson the hard way. In my mind, a rear slide is a non-starter.

that's why the axles are supposed to be properly positioned - to maintain a safe hitch-to-total weight ratio

I like this one a lot, but I am torn between front kitchen and rear kitchen. 3/4 ton absolutely with a good tow package. This is really a cool TT. And for outside storage and CCC, that is what the bed of your truck is for.

Let's see here: not very much outside storage, limited road mode bathroom access, dump valves located where I've got to roll around on the ground to get at them. This is a total NO for me, but I'd love to be parked next to one to watch that guy roll around in the muck on a rainy afternoon.😂

i would put shoe storage where those bar stools were if it were mine...but it does feel like a bonkers floor plan to me. why two dining options in a camper, but a wonky feeling lounge space (I'm not a fan of couch facing dinette deal - but that's just me). So not for me...but like the bedroom and kitchen for what that's worth :)

Professor Nerd 🧑‍🏫? I have a question? 🙋 Something that I don’t recall you ever mentioning… on the vacuum system, what is the dirt capacity of it? How much dirt will it hold? Is it just like a trash can that the dirt goes in or is there a filter of some sort (like on a Shop Vac). I’m presuming that you empty it from one of the outdoor storage doors.

Despite all the claims RVs aren't built with the idea of living in them 365 days a year. There are some rigs a little better suited for it but they're not made to be houses. Expect accelerated upkeep schedules to help offset the extra usage Beyond that it's a personal preference. Most people will tell you "oh you need this big expensive fifth wheel over here" but I see people doing what you're targeting in rvs of all shapes and sizes It's more about how much you're willing to take care of the RV than the RV itself

This floorplan would be perfect if it just had the breakfast bar for 2, and a sofa “option” for the redundant 1950’s diner booth dinette directly across from the theater seating to form an awesome comfortable seating area for 4-6 people💥💥💥
