Love the midbunk, except it should have a sofa. I would take those bunks out so fast. Hope one day they make a good second room for relaxing for couples where the visit can be. As for the living room, tv.on wrong side, should be opposite kitchen, or in the complete back, and those sofas, just to much. @acdii4 жыл бұрын
WOW, that is very nice! It looks like they used the basic 3660 chassis and walls and created different slide units because I see a lot of similarity between it and ours. I do like the *barland* with the seats, and the fact they include the tables. Been waiting for your review and it was well worth the wait. A few things I wish I could get from FR for ours, the board behind the stove, and the drawer under the stove and fridge. I could make my own, actually made two pull out shelves for the cabinet next to the stove, but to have matching drawers would be great. After using ours for a little bit now, what would be better, especially for the 3880, is to move the LP tap to the middle of the trailer, between the steps and second storage door so that you can cook under the awning and not need a 30' hose. Maybe give FR a little feedback on that one. While I like the storage in the bed room that can also be the WD area, the space above it could be better used if it were a cabinet in the bathroom like it is on the smaller bunkhouse 5th. Might be a bit tricky getting things out though, but if it were just deep enough for towels, that is all it needs. It cold also use a railing by the stairs for older folks. I like how they left out the dividers that are in the 2020/21 models in the front passthrough storage, gives a lot more room for larger items, though it also increases the chance of stuff sliding, so pack carefully. While I do like this layout, a couple things about it make the 3660 we have more useful, the bunk room is great on the 3880, but lacks the storage the 3660 has, and with no loft, it doesn't give us the separation we have with the 3660. That's not a knock against it, it just would make it less practical for our use case. Anyway, Josh, it was because of YOUR review on the 3660 and all trailers in general, that we decided to go with the 3660, you covered it bottom to top literally. No one else climbs up on the roof to detail what the manufacturer has done up there, you can't see it so it is out of mind, but those little features you point out can make a huge difference in a trailer. I also noticed this trailer has wrinkles in the roof material at the seams, which our 3660 also has, and was a bit concerned, but looks like that just happens to be how the lay the fabric down, giving it some extra to expand and contract during the seasons. One little thing if you may, could you add the tires and suspension to the reviews? Some trailers have upgraded suspension that aren't normally reported, and even if just noted it has such and such tire and standard or upgraded suspension would add even more value to your reviews. Keep up the good work. Oh, where can I get that bumper setup for mine? Could really use one.
@JoshtheRVNerd4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! Did you choose Haylett RV or allow our team the opportunity to work with you in return for our efforts in these videos? @JoshtheRVNerd4 жыл бұрын
OH! Regarding the bumper bracket: I don't believe your previously existing 3660 can be outfitted with that rack. It requires the actual chassis to be extended slightly to provide room for the rack to be attached. I think there are some highly similar aftermarket solutions though

There are a lot of other mid-bunks out there from brands like Cougar, Eagle, North Point, Montana, etc. They all have their little "things." I think if that party sofa / and "Dineland" combo goes over, then I could definitely see some brands adopting something like this more common. Arctic has really gone from "follower" to a true "leader" the past two seasons.

I absolutely recognize that fact -- assuming the RV was left mounted on the wall. It's unreasonable I think to remove a TV for transit.
