I have this in the Odyssey model... it is THE ULTIMATE. Toilet is plenty angled to give a tubby guy like me plenty of room.. And shower size is GOLD. Drives really nice, and using the bed without sliding out can be a big advantage for quick stops

My wife and I like this floor plan, we currently have a travel trailer but have looked at motor homes every now and then. Would prefer a theater seat in place of a sofa and would probably opt for a 12 volt fridge. As far as the TV goes we like it where it is and prefer the extra cabinet space in the kitchen.

What I've seen done, typically in home made RVs, is a screen that drops down over the sink, with a small projector under the cabinets behind the couch. So, you could use the neck cricker while cooking dinner, and switch to the screen afterwards.

Tv over the storage, so instead of having swing(left,right) open cabinet doors, have 1 large lift up cabinet door. Put some struts on the cabinet door and any time you need to put something in or take something out, you lift the tv/cabinet door up.

This is a nice update on a classic layout. Nice coach. No complaints! I’m wondering why you don’t see the dual AC power management as much in towables? Our 32ft can get a bit overwhelmed with just one ducted AC unit when temps get into the 90s - it would be nice to have the power of two units without having to fight for a 50amp plug.

I think the Jayco--and its Entegra brethren--are the Pinnacles (pun intended) of the class C market. Had the Entegra Esteem 31F (Greyhawk Prestige) with full body paint in the crosshairs a few years ago. Gotta have FBP for ease of cleaning, resale value, and longevity. I balked and missed out on the pre-pandemic new RV prices. So, we went with a bargain on a used diesel pusher instead. I still admire the Jayco/Entegra class C quadruplets, though. I'm not actively looking anymore, but I still like your videos to keep current on tips, tech, and trends, Uncle J. Thanks for going the extra mile.

I do absolutely hate the tv up there, but with that floor plan I don’t know where else they’d put it. That’s why I don’t want that floor plan. I like the 30Z model better. But we still haven’t decided between a HT tow able or motor home yet. We’re going to be at the Hersey RV show for 5 days next month. Hopefully we can decide. 😂

I would like the 12v fridge so it could run on solar and keep the food cold. My only suggestion is I wish they could flip the kitchen and sofa/table sides. That would allow for better camp side views. I also agree that paint jobs, though more expensive, does keep the rv looking nice longer. I do really like this one otherwise.

Own a 2022 31F entegra , so same size but just a bunkhouse model. The roof is great compared to others. Front overhead bunk cap I would say is best in industry. If they put a residential refrigerator in there I would recommend doubling or tripling the solar power and change the batteries to lithium. Because our panel at 190 watts plus two house batteries can’t handle our two way refrigerator. Tankless water heater cover is backwards on ours, meaning lock is facing forward, can’t do anything about it due to paint. Overall we a happy with our purchase, we did have some issues/problems but they covered them in the warranty. I do wish ford upgraded their radio/touchscreen to a built in one.

If they removed the doors on the kitchen cabinets and instead mounted either a flip up TV mount, or a hinged TV mount that becomes the door covering the cabinets. I have that on my Thor ACE and find it works for wherever one is seated as well.

I had a 2006 Four Winds Majestic. The layout of that rig I have not seen since. (though I haven't really been looking) The layout was, dinette directly behind the driver, the sofa directly behind the passenger seat across from dinette..Kitchen behind dinette, entry door next to sofa, refrigerator on other side of entry. Shower next to fridge, toilet and sink across from shower (next to kitchen) and bedroom with full queen laid out front to back with closets and drawers on either side. Also a rear window which you could look out with rearview mirror. We hung a TV in the bedroom and the previous owner hung it from the front bunk when parked. Also no slideouts.. I don't mind having a slide, but I don't want a full side slide like I have seen and certainly not for the bed. Generator was under the kitchen/dinette and so was the house battery. I got rid of the Class C because when trying to look over your left shoulder which is sometimes needed to merge or other maneuvers, you couldn't see down the side of the rig. I would have the wife look out the dinette window to see if it was clear. This problem doesn't exist on Class A rigs.

I took my TV outside and duck taped it facing inside put thick plastic all around it and now it don't take up no room at all so instead of a window it's a television. Now the secret is make sure its water proof and use a good cord for the electric.

If you need the TV mounted in a different place, i'd get an under cabnit mount and swing the TV up and down in front of that kitchen window. If theres a theater seat option i'd for sure go for that. Of course i'd go for the latgest solar package possible. Im with you on the fridge. I'm a towel rack person, drunkin octopus fight hooks arn't for me. I'd prefer a TV in the bedroom. Is this motorhome able to pull my half ton pick um up truck? Which ever paint package is the least expensive. Apperance doesn't matter to me but performance and longevity of equipment is. I like this better than the thor we just rented. The TV location worked because we had a bunch of us but it was also a problem with kids sleeping up there. The thor had the spot for a master bedroom TV but wasn't there, if we were to buy one of these the lack of options for a TV would make this a tough choice for she who thinks she must be obeyed, personally I don't like a TV in the bedroom but she does. And yes that bed will shrink while slide outs are in, we dealt with that because I swapped driving shifts with my daughter and I was cramped up while sleeping and I'm 5' 10". So that's something to consider if you will be sleeping while someone else drives. I'm the tallest in the family so the boss and daughters didn't notice a difference.

We had to run the generator while driving to run the ac since we live in Texas, same one as in this motor home and it cut our fuel economy in half, something to consider though the rental had no solar system to run anything anything.

Nice rig, not much else they could do with the TV. It would help if the TV mount would not only swing open bu down. I would rather make a few changes to the storage in the bedrooom area, eleminate the stroage ajacent to the bed and make it a real queen. Looks like that would be a doable thing based on what I see from the outsite.

I asked this question when I looked at this unit in person 8 months ago and was told that they couldn’t make it even an inch longer without making it a folding mattress and that would mean you can’t use the bed in transit (a no no anyway?) nor at a Cracker Barrel. And your mattress would have a crack to fall into every night. Apparently many preferred this shorter, non-folding bed option. A two edged sword. Maybe a wider motorhome could accommodate that 80” queen or definitely a different north/south bed floor plan.

That horn, no way you want an air horn. Really good couples or smaller family not the Brady Bunch. In that floorplan the TV needs to be in the bunk over the cab, the only place that is reasonable, but it would be nice if it pulled out all the way so if someone is sleeping in the bunk they can't kick the TV. 12V fridge for sure. TV in the bedroom, yes. LOL, Silence of the Lambs. Very nice unit and motorized all the way.

Does anybody make a supplementary travel trailer that would tow behind this that is simply a bunkhouse/toy hauler with maybe fold away opposing benches with a game/dining table in the rear area with an overhead double bunk and a forward wet bath, sink and fridge. Heat and ac would be nice of course. With seat belts for 8 in this motorhome, a private little party/sleep trailer for kids that doubles as an area for bringing along a couple of 4 wheelers or a pile of bikes would be fantastic! This is just my kind of RV. I would order 1 A.C with soft start, No TV, no octopus, no front window, no generator, more solar, 12 volt fridge, basic microwave, optional induction cooktop, no oven rather have more storage and being your own air fryer. Love the outside storage. Like the basic white/gray paint black in Southwest not good for reflecting or looking clean. AW, first I need to win a big chunk of money. Love the interior. What is the ladder in the closet?

I looked at some new jayco trailers earlier this year and was appalled at the extremely poor construction. There were poorly sealed gaps everywhere, stripped screw heads, cheap carpentry, I broke an armrest sitting down on the sofa. Horrible construction by amateurs. I agree with my brother's opinion of his jayco purchase years ago - JUNK

Josh, Cummins is a diesel engine maker, is the generator diesel or gas? If gas, i assume it runs off the coaches gas tank. Also, is there an inverter for the solar?

Gas Gen. Shared fuel cell. You don’t really “have inverters for the solar” - they’re separate things independent of one another though commonly found together
