Ok, this is for all RV manufactures of this style of floor plan. If you can not have the water heater and furnace exhaust on the camp side and under the awning space, that would be great.

@EmberRecreationalVehicles4 ай бұрын
Thank you for sharing your preferences on this floor plan! We agree that EVERY floor plan should try to put exhaust on the driver’s side (off door side). In this specific 25RUD model, the water heater (which is used more frequently than the furnace) exhausts exactly how you ask! Unfortunately, there is no other “real estate” on that side of the coach for a furnace exhaust and so it’s hiding underneath the kitchen cabinetry. One thing to note - the exhaust from the furnace is mostly hot air, making it less of a nuisance in cold weather months.
@dizbuster304 ай бұрын
I love my furnace exhaust under the awning on the camp side. It’s an extra outdoor heater when camping in cold weather (which is our type of camping).

I can tell you *exactly* why I would pivot that table...for those of us who are "fluffy" a regular dinette is impossibly tight. I do worry about the large knobs being shin scrapers, though. What about putting levered clamps there instead of knobs?

Thanks for another great review Josh. Would like this even better with a window in the rear door, move the storage above the dinette to the side walls, and a taller window on the rear. The pivoting table would be useful for people with limited mobility to get into the dinette and would be great for some games and puzzles. I don't understand why tv mounts can't drop down as well as pivot. It will be interesting to see how buyers react to having a two burner cooktop and no oven. I'm not sure that lack of an oven is a big deal in a smaller camper, and I'm also not sure who needs three burners. The lack of windows over the section of counter beneath the tv is lamentable. I hope they add that back for production. Bathroom storage is outstanding. This is one of the best passthrough bathrooms I have seen. The access with the slide closed is fabulous. I would prefer to buy this without a door in the bedroom due to the quality of access (I don't like doors in the bedroom at all to be honest, but here it is not even necessary).

We have the same looking dinnette area and table in our Reflection 31mb. The tabe turning makes the above cabinets a lot easier to access. One thing I don't like about it is the table wobbles no matter how tight you make the clamps AND if you have guests and turn it into a sleeping area, the provided cushions slide right off the table when you roll over. If we need to do that this year we're going to try some none slip shelf stuff.
@EmberRecreationalVehicles4 ай бұрын
Good points from an experienced customer! The non-slip might be a great idea if there’s concerns about the cushions moving. Ours fit pretty tight, but it’s still a good idea!

Finally something that provides the privacy we “need”.

A lot of this comes down to price. I park camp, so paying an extra $2k for solar doesn't make sense to me. I have never used the outdoor shower but I do use the outdoor hose for washing things off on occasion. I don't think I've ever even turned the hot water knob. I can see where it would come in handy while off grid to save gray water storage. We use our outdoor shower on the boat quite a bit for this reason.

If money was no object, I would have a telescoping TV come up from the counter to the right of the stove. It's out of the way when you're cooking, but when you want to watch TV, it's at a great level. That would also allow for a little extra cabinet space up above. Not the cheapest way to fix the problem but maybe the cleanest looking.

I think they should have an extra window above that kitchen counter, but if not, I think that would be a good place for the tv. But it might be blocked if you're working in the kitchen. Just another reason to put twins in a trailer. You can still have the hanging closet in the middle with a shelf and outlets behind them with overhead cabinets above and not lose any storage space. Hey Josh.. Entry door is too small. Floorplan is great except for these changes I'd make.. Dinette seating doesn't look comfortable. Dinette table needs to be square, but keep the swivel drop down feature. TV needs to be in LOWER cabinet, as a televator OR swivel mounted on lower wall. And Josh you're right, they need two lights under theater seating cabinets. AND, Every RV needs an OVEN.. Stovetop needs to be a wider 3 burner, that 2 burner just looks funny and Microwave should only be a Microwave.. it definitely will need 2 AC Units with all them doors and walls that can be closed for privacy. Why don't any manufacturers offer stackable W/D? Travel Trailer Owners wash their clothes too. This bathroom storage cabinets could fit them. And "ALL" Cabinets need doors on them. That way clothes and towels don't fall on floors or into toilets, while moving to next location. Oh, Put a window in the door. All these changes can be done in this trailer without much trouble. @@EmberRecreationalVehicles Hey Ember Staff ❤! Sure, so we cross shopped the Overland 190MSL and the Ibex 19MBH. We went with the Ibex because we had an SUV at the time and could barely handle the Ibex weight and the Ember was a fair bit heavier. We now have a 2500 series diesel truck so this is basically a mute point. But, one of the things that has come in handy has been the cargo capacity. When I hit the cat scales, we had loaded it up with about 1,400lbs of it's 2,250lb limit. This is about 60% of the capacity and I want headroom for full tanks, battery and solar upgrades, etc. 1400 of this 25RUD is like 75% of it's cargo capacity. So there's almost no headroom left if you're trying to stay at 80% or less of the cargo capacity. That extra 300lbs would bring it back below 70% of capacity freeing up some head room. I know this is a big ask, it's not like you guys can just print off some extra capacity and you're targeting a feature and price point to come in at. But, maybe it's something to consider or think about when updating this model in the future.

Hi Josh - great trailer. Definitely bring the TV down, or at least on an arm that can be lowered. Why no window under the TV? Toe kick is absolutely necessary to save your back! Instead of mongo dinette, why not a desk & dining bar configuration? Pantry/wardrobe, yes please. Put a window (with shade) in each door. Why are slide top covers/awnings never included? Excellent option for us. 😊
@JoshtheRVNerd4 ай бұрын
Guessing the lack of window is a cost-related on an E-Series Slide awnings are rarely standard because they're _not_ a good idea in some cases/areas such as high wind zones So they're best as an aftermarket item for owner preference

1st thing great floor plan, I am in Florida and one ac will not keep that Rv cool in the summer and I would not buy one without it and all of my rving friends feel the same way (yes I could and one later but I would rather have it when I buy it). The slide on cables???? We all know that it is cheaper and lighter (per every Rv professional I have talked to)then the rack and pinion underneath the slide(anther reason I won’t even consider). Love the walk through bathroom (thanks for that!). There is a company that makes this floor plan with dual ac and rack and pinion under slide. This probably be the way I go next year but I love to see all that is out there and like to have options. Thanks for the video Josh. You are doing a great job as you always do!

We have a 20 RDSE that we love. We are going to a single pedestal in the dinette. A floating table is NOT ok. We're on a 49 states in 5 years plan. This MIGHT be something we'd like for Alaska and Canada in year 5 due to better exterior insulation.

Nice TT, but needs larger windows around the dinette like the Outdoors RV 25RDS has. Need doors with large trays under dinette seat for storing things like case of bottle water. Also needs a full size range and oven with the microwave at eye level. Mount to lower tv would be nice. What would make this a best seller would be a slide that you can use when closed like motor homes have. Need bathroom cabinet with room for waste can. Would rather have a attached ladder. Nice video Josh. Also no ads today.

I would turn the table perpendicular to make a comfortable spot for people to just hang out, and use the table as a spot to put drinks and snacks. Although I suppose that would work no matter how it's positioned. Maybe just to tell your friends how cool it is that it can pivot? I'd rather a free standing table, much more versitile. Let's talk about that kitchen. I love it. making that a full width counter is perfect. Loads of space! Drawers galore. So nice! I would like a window under the TV. And speaking of the TV, I like it where it is but put it on a drop down mount. I don't know why that kind of mount isn't common. Esp with the bedroom mounts. I would love a window in that space, and the door. Are the shelves in the bathroom clost adjustable? I'd like the larger areas on the lower part. Then anything smaller would be at eye level. Is there enough space to have a combo washer/dryer, assuming it can be factory prepped, or is that a whole new version. I'm just curious. Holy crap, road mode! Even I can fit my belly thru that!

I’d also want a gas/propane stovetop Great advice on the sink, which could be a bit larger. I still can’t warm up to rigs with two doors, but this may do! It needs a BIGGER gray tank. Great video, as always! I tell you, for its size, that is an excellent camper!! Real nice layout! I agree with you on the tv and the open cabinets in the bathroom. I would like to see the tv be able to drop down and swivel and doors on the cabinets. I would also like to see some shelves in the cabinets in the kitchen and above the dinette. It has enough big storage everywhere else. Also, I think a double sink in the kitchen would be a lot handier. OH YEAH, and the doors.🤣 Totally backwards.

Hey Josh, for the table, if they can make the legs sturdy, free floating would be more useful. For the TV, if it's not feasible to do a drop down or wall mount, maybe a tilting bracket? I'd personally prefer the wall space to mount things like a magnetic knife holder, spice rack, and other small adhesive mounted organizers. The kitchen window is a little short, but that's not the worst. I get the small sink in the bathroom, but if it could be a smidge wider? Also, a verticle rather than horizontal tp holder the would be as close to the middle in the door would be a bit more comfy. When the door is closed, leaning forward to get some is not ideal, but that is an easy post purchase modification. I love the slide depth, and since the bathroom and bedroom are accessible for most in road mode, I'd actually prefer no door, and a long and higher up window that allow for cross breeze without letting people look inside since the privacy screen need to be open for it and it's a creepy though that someone can look in while I'm sleeping

My vote for tv placement is Nowhere. None. Nada. Love the microwave placement, two burner stove, and theater seats. I’d like to see the bath turned into a true split bath, like Airstream. @EmberRecreationalVehicles but my biggest critique is the small cook top/lack of oven. I don't use my microwave either. So my ideal kitchen is the 3 or 4 burner top with propane oven. But what would the possibility of having a recessed TV hidden behind the sliding door in the bedroom? Nothing fancy, but just enough for my wife to watch TV in bed. Think it would be a cool idea if it is even possible.

I literally wouldn't buy an RV with the microwave at knee level. TV is definitely too high and such an easy fix. The bed in a coffin is a big nope for side sleepers. Put a window in the bedroom but that would impacr the awning.. Adjustable shelves needed in the pantry. It absolutely needs a 2nd AC. July in Alabama doesn't respect a single AC. That inverter should run a microwave. My 2000 watt power station runs everything but the AC. I have never had a blowout in a camper so putting the spare underneath is a good thing.
