Just a quiet afternoon at Chepstow, or so we thought...
That was until Give Em A Clump decided to do a couple of laps of the track after getting loose, and then careering dowen the straight near our intrepid presenter.
What next can only be described as pretty remarkable. You've set the bar for on-course reporting, Hayley!

@@hazellevesque7773 Thanks for the reply. Yes, horses have a more complex personality than dogs, more difficult to read for sure. Luckily when I was bitten by that horse, he didn't draw blood, he grabbed my on my right shoulder and lifted me onto my tiptoes. It hurt quite alot and he let me go after a few seconds and apart from feeling a bit of an ache it wasn't too bad. I still stroked the side of his neck and "made friends" with him (his name was Remus) before a pleasurable hours ride out. That night I was getting ready for a shower and saw the purple and blue mess of bruises covering my shoulder. The next day it was as stiff as anything. That taught me to be wary of horses I don't know.

It's a term and I would suggest whatever the authenticity or nature of the phrase is more appropriate when a comparison is made to the Capital rather than a whole Country. Also, please retain the 100% record of commentators who make similar remarks to the one you made in that you are not old enough to see the massive change in ethnicity between the old 1960's/1970;s England as I was or you are not from a large multi-cultural area but somewhere like THe Shires or West Country.
