This is really good. Very smart, compassionate, but tough coaching. Watching Martin plow thru is interesting. He creates so much resistance for himself, but when he finally executes, it’s flawless, like a pro- especially the 1st two approaches. He is very inspiring. Hayley is fantastic.

here is an idea, solicitors interrupt us on the street, at work, coffee shops and hell even at home to sell us something so they take profit. How about interrupting somebody and give something for free, now that is an idea. I interrupted a marred couple the other day in a coffee shop and told them, " excuse me, my name is so and so, I just want to say that I wish you to have a good day. I am in a good mood and want to share this mood with others" Big smile from both of them. I ended up talking to them for 10 minutes. Turns out we are neighbours, I got their number, called them and we exchanged christmas cards.

Martin's a champ, seriously. It's clear how difficult it is and yet he wades in there and does it, and as others have said, it's wonderful to see that when he lets his natural -- great -- sense of humor come out, as it did with the woman taking photos, people respond so well to him. I hope he got that, that the more of his actual self he exposed, the better response he got. That said, although Hayley you've got such awesome things to say, I'd get prickly fast if a strange man wandered into my personal space and touched me uninvited. In general I send out crystal clear signals and they don't, but I'd hate to think that was obligatory in someone's repertoire when it's liable to have a negative effect on a lot of women. I want my person respected; I don't want touching without clear invitation.

I'm no expert but what I found works is to talk to someone about what there wearing. People feel good when you comment on what there wearing. Oh like your shoes or your jacket looks great were you get it. Then it's easy to talk to the person you can talk about the jacket shoes then you can ask were you got them and talk about the store or place you goth those shoes. Makes for a nice easy conversation and who knows if it's a girl she might be nice enough to suggest something for you. Oh I know a great place you look great in these men's shoes and bam your in you just got a girl willing to hang out with you. The hardest part is just doing it I agree with Hayley you just gotta do it.

The thing is that u have to be careful where and whom u approach. If u approach a lot of women in a small town and u suck at approaching, then you'll eventually get a bad rep of being a "creeper" since everyone will gossip and see how weird you are. Actually, I got kicked out of a small to moderate sized mall once because the security guards there told me that they got complaints from some women who accuse me of harassing them, even though I didn't.

All of the "I can't do that", "that sounds silly" and walking slowly and all of the other excuses are so familiar to me that it was really hard watching this. I feel on some of those occasions Hayley was being a little harsh and it would have made me feel less inclined to continue. But it seemed to push Martin in the right direction, so I guess it works. Talking too fast once you've started is also something that is familiar and sometimes leads to people not understanding what I'm saying.

The pizza walk is good for overcoming hesitation. Go into a shop and ask for something ridiculous they don't sell, with a relaxed straight face eg go into McDonalds and say something like " Can I have a ham and pineapple pizza please?" then when they say " Sorry, we don't sell those" go " Ah, it's ok thanks, I'll try the chinese restaurant"

I'm a pretty shy guy sometimes. I was walking through the train station today and there was a pretty cute lady walking while reading a book. I was walking near her and asked "where'd you get the antique?" She looked at me puzzled for a couple of seconds. Then I said "you have an actual book". She laughed and said some people still use those! It was awesome! I probably could have continued but that was it, we both went on our way. Another wasted opportunity. I think there's something wrong with me. Not pathetic, just kinda sad.

I had a friend I helped doing something like this. His anxiety was so bad that he would avoid ordering food from a girl at a counter. That's where we started. Then light flirting with them or a waitress, and so on. less than a year later he had his first girlfriend. A super good guy, overlooked because he was super shy due to childhood rejections and ridicule by girls. Looked a lot like a skinny Martin.

Michael Scofield Well, unless the seated women is nearly deaf, most people can hear conversations 5 feet from them with no problem at all. And given this is a quiet setting to begin with, not a crowded restaurant with roaring chatter, it just strains credibility to think either (1) she couldn't hear them talking about her and/or (2) she wasn't in on the game with Hayley

Lol! Try acting out Hayley's 'advice' here in Central London when approaching women and see what happens. In recent years every time I've approached women here in London in a non-creepy normal way they tell me to get lost or "go do one"! I remember one girl I was approaching even shut me down before I even opened my mouth to talk to her! And another woman was giving flirtacious signals to me whilst we were both waiting at a bus stop and when I responded to her overtures she started shouting to everyone that I was harassing her!! And she was the one looking at me to begin with trying to get my attention! You do hear stories of women giving false signals to men in order to entrap them and hurl false accusations at them. As a consequence men are now far more reluctant to approach women and Hayley knows this which is why she's desperate to give out this 'advice' as women are now complaining that men are now reluctant to approach them. Hmm.. I wonder why? 20 years ago or so it was far more straightforward to approach women and chat them up without any fear of backlash. I had many dating opportunities because of this. Men these days are not so lucky. Unfortunately in recent times the #Me Too and 3rd Wave Feminism movements have killed the art of flirting and approaching women not to mention killing relationships and commitment between women and men. So sad what it's come to but this is what 3rd Wave Feminism wanted and the brainwashed women around the world that believed it were not astute enough to see how mendacious and damaging the movement and it's aims are.

I wish Martin does this approaching session more often, not just once a month. I feel like there's very little improvement over the last session. Martin is still insecure about his body type and as a result hesitates to start a conversation with pretty women. Michael, on the other hand, learns much faster because his sessions happens more frequently and his speech aside, he's actually an attractive young man. Martin's look will be a barrier to meeting quality women, but practicing often will be the key to letting go of that insecurity and doubt.

If Martin randomly said, "I like how you're smiling on a Monday evening" in Canada, it would be considered socially awkward & creepy due to the cultural differences.

Being creepy is never about WHAT you do, but HOW you do that. You can make any activity creepy. On the other hand, you can say almost anything if your voice and body are relaxed and properly adjusted to the social context in which you're doing that.

I think Martin's troubles with approaching women lies deeper than it looks. He seems like a genuinely nice guy, but when the intent is approaching for a possible relationship or future romantic endeavor, Martin needs work in other areas as well, not just the 1st contact. He needs a proper diet along with a good gym workout program, and a fashion consultant. That would realistically boost his self confidence and sense of well being & will make it much easier for him to approach women.

Sorry hayley don't wanna discourage you but you got very loose game , with this kind of coaching he will never be able to get a girlfriend or won't get any dates. The coaching you are giving now might be able to help girls to get better blokes and I think you should focus and try to teach women to get dates as you seem very expertise in that but no way the other way round

+Hayley Quinn See that's what you are mistaken Hayley , I never said wooing is about bullshit lines or teasing or anything related to that , you got it all wrong and just because I criticized your teaching you reacted like this in a very strong way , a typical british lass and that's the only reason you got very less subscribers in compare to other dating coaches . What Martin need is raw first hand coaching and not some fairy tale experiences and you can never understand being a lass , as you don't have that kind of exposure , its nothing wrong with you and you won't understand that where all this guys coming from , all i can wish you is good luck and I already recommended you is some alternative career options , I sweat to God you can do thousand times better in coaching women to get better blokes but no way in coaching Men please try to understand hayley

Hayley Quinn I am not sure if that's what Martin wants. He's touching you, kissing your head. A lot of touching is what I see from Martin, and he's obviously desperate just to get any girl for that matter. Sure Martin is looking for something real, but he, like most boys and girls, wants a bit of salad on the side.
