I never really thought about depression in that way, and it makes sense to me now. I see myself in a different light. The way she explained how depression is a mask essentially, covering up these emotions that you are unable to confront or deal with for some reason, it's so true. I think a lot of the time, people get depressed because they are in a situation where they can't or don't want to address certain aspects of their lives. Be it anger, sadness, grief, etc... It messes with your head, and when you do it enough, it becomes a habit. You sink into a hopelessness and sadness that is hard to escape.

I love you, Hayley. I stoped this video in the middle because I was crying so hard. I lost my best friend last year and it's so hard to move on, when she started to talk about her nana I feel it so hard. When Zane talked about the reason to stay alive is to not hurt your friends feelings, dude, 2 years ago this was my thought to not surrender to depression. This interview hit me so hard, oh God I can't even describe.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Please just keep holding on. It might not feel like it, but there are people who truly care for you. And, don't hesitate to ask for help. I'm a suicide attempt survivor and know how it feels. You're not alone.

In so Many levels I always felt Hayley Like a friend Thur her lyrics. When I met Paramore in 2012 I realize they were so down to earth and the time I spend talking to Hayley was priceless. Two years after it, I moved away from my home country and I end up discovering that I being suffering from clinical depression and social anxiety. I felt so alone. After laughter came out, and literally save my life. I felt so broken, so alone, in the outside everything was like a movie in full colours but that wasn’t how I felt. After laughter represents that perfectly and it’s a record that I hold dearly. Mental health is not a joke and it took me 17 years to say : I need help. After laughter has a record is the representation of how a depress person is really seen in the world and while you scream for help is difficult to be heard. Hayley if you ever read this, thank you. Thank you to Taylor too, I know he is struggling too. Thank you for writing music. And if anyone is reading and feels lonely, please look for help. Your life will change after it. To better. You would see. Keep it coming. I can’t wait to heard petals for armor.

I relate to hayley speaking about how she doesn’t fear her own death. I always thought that was weird of me,, and people always thought it was a suicidal thing. I’m glad to know that I’m not the only one. It’s a little thing but it comforts me.

I thought about erasing myself for years. What makes me being still here is the people I would harm. I've the effects of this on the remaining people. I love them so much, I can't do that. I suffer everyday but my love for them keeps me here. Without a regret.
