Hayling Island in the south of England, combines all the attractions of a traditional seaside holiday with excellent sea sporting and leisure facilities.
The island’s miles of unspoiled coastline and countryside also offer a haven of peace and tranquility where visitors can walk, cycle or relax on the beautiful beaches.
However there is only one bridge entry to the island and sometimes traffic is very bad in peak times and properties are more expensive compared to other neighbourhoods therefore living is only suitable for middle age and retirement people.

Used holiday there every year with our Mum and Dad, late 1950’s early 1960’s in a little wooden chalet with a paddling pool in the middle of the centre grass saved pocket money for souvenirs. Wooden bridge where men had to get off the coach and walk across, oh happy days long gone xx
