FISHERY CREEK TOURING PARK - CAMPING on an ISLAND

This time we visit FISHERY CREEK TOURING PARK in HAYLING ISLAND , HAMPSHIRE. This is a lovely campsite located on a tidal creek where you can PADDLEBOARD , SUP and KAYAK straight from the park. There is also a RESTAURANT and BAR on site open from 9am - 9pm.

😂learn something new everyday John, we only know cause Ashley always windsurfed at Hayling and they used to hold the annual competitions on the island. 👋

Stayed at this site on many occasions. You can reserve a pitch online and choose the pitch number you want, using the site map to make your best choice. If possible I'd try and get either a premium pitch that overlooks either the creek or lake, you'll pay a bit more but we think it's worth it. What's great is you can walk to the seafront from the site by taking the creek path at the far corner left of the site, takes about 10 mins to get to the front. We used to then take a nice walk along the seafront to the pub, Inn on the Beach. That takes about 50 mins then get the mono rail back if it's open. Shower and toilet facilities are always kept clean.

Thankyou for your comments, we have stayed there quite a lot in the past (pre Covid) and love it . Definitely busier than before but it’s great the restaurant is back up and running, and also a great position to explore the island as you said .

Aw we were in the middle just behind the paddle boards last year we usually get 14 or 14a. That pitch you had first was stunning.
