It's still shocking to us that Chimney ended up so likeable. Went into the ark being like "Oh, the annoying child side character"... and then halfway through the arc, it was like "Wait, why hasn't she felt annoying yet?" and then later on we realized "Wait... she's actually pretty likable". Trust Oda to write a character that 99 times out of 100 would have been incredibly obnoxious and make them loveable.

Let's be honest Zoro getting stuck in a chimney is the best scenario for the Straw Hats. Can you imagine how hard it'd be to find him if he was trying to find his way back on foot. Better he get stuck in an easy to reach location where a non directionally challenged crew member can find him.

Definitely can see Zoros training paying off in this one. Last time, he was caught at the feet, back in little garden. He said the angle and his stance limited his strength and was unable to free himself. He was really upset at himself for that one. And now, with the flick of a wrist, he was able to escape.

Luffy was starting to doubt himself, something he's never really dealt with before. He lost two crew members and his ship in a short time, that got to him. Luffy hearing _why_ Robin did what she did is all he needed to remember who he is. It's that Shonen power of friendship thing. Gets to me every time. Luffy et al taking Rocketman seems fitting for a group that is willing to do whatever they can to save their friend. And Nami? She knows her boys. Goin' off the rails on a crazy train!

So, Oda does a great job of building up some of his characters from scratch. You noted Nami was doing all that in heels.... But she was doing all of that for the first time. She's been carried while roof hopping before. But she's never done the jumping herself. It's incredibly brave but also sets up for later when she moves about on her own, knowing her own limits.

Luffy and Zoro getting stuck is a representation of their will being shattered, that is why they manifested being stuck like they did, because they value loyalty and friendships so much that being betrayed by Robin made them want to just hide from the world and not take part in it at all unable to move forward. The moment Luffy hears from Nami that she was actually so loyal that she sacrificed her life for them. Luffy's power comes back stronger than ever because he now would have a reason to fight. Its attention to detail like this that makes One Piece the best.

Zoro almost never shows emotion outwardly, but Water 7 is where we see him show (in his own way) how affected he is by the loss of Robin and Usopp's leaving. It's a great part of Zoro's character, because too many people tend to act like nothing phases him, when in reality he is affected just as much as everyone else; he just doesn't show it outwardly because he's trying to be the strong figure to help Luffy lead the others. Some of Zoro's most emotionally vulnerable moments are in Water 7, and they really flesh him out as a character.

The thing with Luffy is he doesn't fight unless he absolutely has a good reason to fight, he clearly has the physical strength needed to get out from in between the buildings any time he wanted to but couldn't muster it up because there was sill somewhere in his heard a doubt, "what if Robin really did just use them and didn't really care about them" but the moment Nami came and screamed to Luffy that Robin was sacrificing herself for them all his doubts disappeared instantly and he could draw out all the strength he needed.

One Piece has been going on for so long that the show has sadly outlasted the lifespan of some of the VA's so due to deaths, and declining health some characters (Including main characters) have had VA swaps.
