@6:59 Wow, clean your lenses! S23U main lens is absolutely covered in grease. I wouldn't be surprised if the others were as well, the light just doesn't happen to reflect well on them in this angle. This is the most basic thing you can do to improve image quality: take care of your gear.

I'v just moved on from my S10+ to the S23 Ultra. And i am very happy with it. This test showed that it most of the time is second in the line... The 10x zoom is only useful in perfect light conditions. The 200 MP mode gives you the chance to create immensely detail rich pictures, again only in perfect light conditions... I hope that Samsung can and will still improve their camera software over the next months. I think there is still room for that...

I think all of them are Great when it comes to taking Pictures and video. So no matter what people like you can't go wrong on any of these phones. The Technology is awesome on all of them. Realistically, like anything we use daily, it's all a matter of personal preference on how you use it, comfort of use, style, and what you like. I switch from Samsung to an iPhone and I definitely can't complain. Love it! I have friends that love their Samsung and some love their Pixel. we all share pictures and videos. Me and my Xiaomi crew watching with respect the Master Brands battling it out but not bothered at all. However one can't stop wondering what the S24 Ultra will do as still among those 3 phones the S23 Ultra does more especially with the S-Pen, Dex Tech and multiview window. I personally don't see myself having a phone that doesn't have an IR Blaster. 😢 Xiaomi has spoilt me. The ability to control all electronic gadgets in my house with my phone is still intriguing here.

Also most important point about anything above 4k is is the sensor good enough to take advantage of more pixels? Usually the answer is no in phones we already have way more pixels than details of actual picture in photos, that means more pixels equals just bigger photo, but same quality

All three phones are incredible in camera. The differences are really minimal. In the zoom should be more categories from 2x up to 4.9x, s23 ultra win, from 5x to 9.9x the winner should be the pixel 8 pro, and above 10x is Samsung S23 Ultra. In the night shots things are different, because the 10x on the samsung has 4.9 apperture, so it will lose, because pixel and iphone have wider apperture on th 5x telephoto lens.

Differences are not at all minimal. This is simplistic. There are major differences in terms of colors, details, sharpening, texture, bokeh, dynamic range etc. And none of these cameras is exempt from major negatives (limited dynamic range, proportion distortion). To claim that from a zoom of 10x or more the winner is the Samsung S23 Ultra does not make sense, as illustrated not only in this video, but others. While it has a 10x optical zoom, the sensor is very small and low quality, so it requires really good lights to provide decent pictures. Samsung is believed to switch to a 5x zoom only with the S24 Ultra, but with a much better sensor. This tells it all.

Yes, except she messed up in basics. 6:59, S23U main lens is very dirty. This is probably the reason for the weird blue tint and it also makes the image softer. Very careless...

However, I don't really game; I just watch some youtube videos in 2k / read some emails / browse the internet and texting/calls. So I do use it quite often during the day and it's pretty impressive. Google Pixel 8 Pro btw.

What a difference, you can tell right away that this is a truly unbiased camera review of these phones. There are a lot of reviewers on KZbin that unfortunately their iPhone fandom gets in the way of making realistic and honest camera reviews, always pointing out the iPhone's strengths while minimizing their weaknesses or in some cases pretending that they don't exist. It's clear that if it wasn't for so many video comparisons the Pixel would have taken this comparison. I can't wait for what Google's Video Boost will offer this coming Feature Drop in December.

For example , filming football game when you stand in the crowd is ideal use of 8k video capability, while moving and filming your kid while playing is where 4k 30/60fps will produce way better video quality.

IMHO you get your money's worth based on the feature you want. If you are a zoom user who wants 10x to 100x zoom. Then the S23 Ultra really is the most preferred. As well as the 8K video feature. Also there should be a moon shot comparison also. One of the best features done by Samsung is the Camera Assistant App which allows you to customize a lot. But still it depends on the user.

I don't know how but Google pixle 8 take darkish photos in the india variant. And it also have unexpectedly heat issue.

I face none of that.. Got the pixel 8... No heating so far... Warm every phone gets today coz of the crazy processing... I had the iPhone 14 pro and same thing.. But cameras are better on the pixel than the 14 pro.. You should maybe give it to the service centre once to check for any issues...

In my opinion, the iPhone 15 PRO MAX And Pixel 8 pro are equally the same when it comes to photo, but the galaxy S23 ultra sense it came out sooner than both the iPhone and pixel. I think it still needs some more work on photo quality.

Taking portraits in 5 times zoom won't be as easy if you aren't a youtuber. You'll have to go way further back and you won't have a tripod to stabilize. So for portraits it must go to samsung

As a Pixel 8 Pro user it was pleasing to see it smashed it overall for stills and as I love landscape photography it’s the perfect phone for me 💪Obviously if you want the best video iPhone is the king 👑 I’ve never liked Samsungs colour science but will be interesting to see where they go with the s24 ultra. S23U is the best option for photography enthusiasts though. It offers full manual controls with expert RAW, the best editing capabilities with s-pen on Lightroom for Galaxy and on top of that it's the only phone to finally complete the shutter speed, aperture and ISO triangle with the help of digital ND, mimicking the option to close down aperture (at least in terms of light gathering). If that all wasn't enough, you can take the editing experience to large display in desktop mode with mouse and keyboard. All of them are fine on auto, but manual + RAW is just whole another level.

Every time the data warning flash message shows up from the carrier it hangs there in picture and picture mode and doesn't allow me to do anything. I have the restart it when that happens..
