We need a charter guest to call captain Sandy out. She's such a negative boss. I think working for her is like torture. She isn't particularly fair because she has her favorite crew members which she protects no matter what, meanwhile she's awful towards everyone else

The clients are too demanding. It should be OK for the chefs on occasion to say 'no' to the guests. There is only ONE chef. For everything. It's a very solitary job. 🤷

Kiko was hands down the most polite chef on Below Deck Med. He was a really hard worker and made the best food. It was actually refreshing to watch him actually getting along with Hannah and the other Stews (mainly Jess), which rarely happens with chefs. Such a shame he got fired! Bad call from Captain Sandy!

She's paid to run the boat and navigate, cooking is not her department. While as a captain, she generally does a decent job, there are several instances when she's found completely lacking. Like, when on one season , she didn't know that the joining Bosun didn't have his certificates. It's the captains job, not first Officer or chief Engineer, the captains. If a ship gets detained, your charter is lost , and won't make any difference even if your captain or Bosun is replaced. The crews cabin is always in such a disarray, it's the captains duty to check up on cabins and have inspections randomly. This would have eliminate also chances of any person hiding drugs and alcohol. The way the crew willy nilly get drunk, and wasted onboard and trash the boat between charters is unheard of . Shows very little observation and command by the captain.

Chef needs personel. It takes 3 stewards to serv his food. How tjey expect that one man can do all that. In all clips always problems with chefs! Problem is that owners dont give chefs credits that they deserve! I personaly would work as kitchen help for 2000$ month + tip, and i live in Europe. Lots of people would do that only for tip

Kiko is a good person, he earned everyones respect despite who he had to come up against. Tom was horrible at his job. Sndy should be more grateful, she talked about Hannah tearing apart Kasey yet she did the same exact thing to Kiko. Hypocritical Arrogant person. Kiko nrver ruined anyones reputation. The guests were too high maintenanced and expected everything handed to them on a plate. Kiko has a calm presence about him. He doesnt throw tantrums like Tom. Just a very easy going person. Sometimes a captain needs to support their crew and look at the whole situation rather than jumping to conclusion.

If I'm paying several 10's of thousands for a boat and the chef serves something that looks unappetizing, or just plain boring then yeah, that's a problem. I'm paying money to be wowed, and surprised. Not to be served mediocre and average food. Now speaking as a chef myself and one who has cooked for higher end clientele, if I just threw shit on a plate and called it a day I wouldn't have the job I have. Creating a dish that visually looks nice is just as important as making sure it's well seasoned because unless that guest is blind, or blindfolded, there first impression of the dish will come as it's placed down and that first impression is key. It sets the tone. If it looks like shit, they're gonna think "it looks like shit" and it doesn't matter how good it tastes because their first impression was still "it looks like shit". Now I'm not saying get all artsy and use a paintbrush to paint on the plate or any of that kinda shit, but I am saying use the ingredients at hand to build height, use leading lines, use curves, and select your plate to match the dish. Draw the eye to the dish and make it exciting, otherwise get the fuck out of the kitchen and go back to the pub down the street where you can just slop things on a plate and call it a day.

For me they can be from Elizabeth Holmes to Epstein. Is that that type of clientele you want to please. Beware that it can reverse back on you. There are no high and lower clients. there is peoole with palate, regardless their money Im portuguese. I dont need fancy art.I need fresh ingredientes. Everyone is Michelin star with lobster and caviar. Try to do a fenomenom plate just with olive oil, coriander, garlic and bread.... thats a geniuos chef. I dont need my eyes to manipulate me. If we were all blind, where the fuck the aestetic went? Nevertheless we could all apreciate haute cuisine if we were blind. I dont need fancy and cheesy tables wich seemed a circus. I need taste. Deep, laywered and rich. The rest is manipulation, its marketing, for newer rich people with lack of culture and a very perturbated ego for what they think money can buy: class.
