Someone on tumblr described Out For Love as “Local MILF hypes up her newly adopted lesbian daughter by telling her love is the ultimate murder weapon.” And you know, facts. I love that it wasn’t the fact that Vaggie was an angel that was Charlie’s hang up. It was just the fact that she didn’t tell her. And yeah, that’s fair. Also, Vaggie’s soft delivery when her and Charlie make up and when she sees the others stayed to help fight is so precious. Stephanie Beatriz you marvel, I felt all the feelings.

Angels can be hurt, but the theory is that any injury not done with angelic steel will heal eventually. Lute ripped Vaggie's wings out with her bare hands, not with her weapon, so her wings came back once she started using her angelic abilities. Her eye, however, was cut out and won't come back.

I actually love the fact that Canibbals are actually the most wholesome people in hell, until they go wild...and really I love their design that perfectly fits to some horror movies with disguised evil also fun fact: There were many of us who were thinking that Vaggie is fallen angel since the pilot, because that X over eye that loks like those angel shades (before we learned it is mask) and there was second group of fans that were like "creators would never do something so obvious" So when Carmilla said it's not a rocket science it was sort of the jab

I was reading through comments and noticed a common thread of referring to various characters jokingly as family members, but that really resonates with what Bethany says about various loves being that which lifts and motivates more than anything. I saw a note about Rosie being like Charlie's aunt, and Camilla being like Vaggie's adoptive mom. I didn't see it brought up but thinking back on certain scenes, Angel now has a lot of sibling-like vibes with certain characters like Pentious (ribbing him after the trust exercises) and Nifty (scolding her at the club, then caving and comforting her). The found-family dynamic has always been a theme of the show but I hadn't thought about how wide spread and impactful it was. Also redundant reminder that the voice of Adam, Alex Brightman, also voices Pentious and Fizzarolli, the other two characters you don't expect to have intense feelings about, lol.

Rosie made a comment where she said that Alastor was an “Ace in the hole” which was a reference to how he is asexual and has no sexual attraction to others. It is speculated that Vox might have had a crush on Alastor but was turned down/ignored and that caused his resentment towards Alastor. However this is just a fan theory and people like to think of interesting ships.

funnily enough when they first posted the clip of alastor and charlie interacting in her room and when they ended on "I know something you don't know" I literally blanked and was like "what do you mean" and someone reminded me of the dead angel, which prompted me to rewatch all of season 1 with my mom prior to the finale.

It seems interesting to say that this episode had some moments that people asked about some characters on their way or side of things that are being confirmed in this episode. Like for example: •When Rosie saying “Ace in the Hole” about Alastor, it seems to confirm that Alastor is Aro/Ace Sexual and doesn’t understand Sexuality terms 😅 •When Camilla told us that Vaggie being an Angel was throwing us shade that we should have seen it clearly from the Pilot episode So it was interesting to notice those details 😉 So the final episode might be big to come with additional of Season 2 in the works. With that said, we might be getting episode 8 of Helluva Boss of season 2 coming by the closing of this month within the announcement of what the rest of the season coming during a LVL Expo😄 I hope you two are hype for it.

It is pretty cool the show actually confirmed it now, because this was made up by the fans i guess since the pilot and the old (no longer) canon Wiki about the characters. Ace or not. It's not important to me personally because I don't define myself by my own sexuality, but it's important to others.

Fun Alastor notes- Rosie refers to him as an 'Ace in the hole', referencing that he's asexual. He doesn't get it because he likes old stuff, and the term is new - but that's the reference. You can see this reflected in how he treats others. He not only rejects, but glares at the prospect of having sex with Anthony (Angel Dust), and also avoids touching or being touched by most others - like when he shakes hands with Lucifer using a cane instead of touching him. This demonstrates that he's touch-averse, at least unless he likes and trusts you. He likes and trusts Rosie and Nifty, both of whom he allows to touch him. Allowing touch is his trust-language. Now, note - he touches Charlie in his song with Lucifer, seemingly without concern. Why this is would be debatable - he was feuding with Lucifer after all, so it could be combative to him. OR it could be he likes and trusts her. To note, he doesn't generally touch Husk, so trust in the form of 'I control them' doesn't SEEM to fit. However, all of this fals perfectly into touch averse Aromantic/Asexual people and I adore it. That my only good recent rep I know of is a sociopathic cannibal serial killer in hell is... A *thing*, but hey, beggars and choosers lol

I can see Vaggie not telling Charlie the truth in the beginning. HOWEVER, once Charlie went to those meetings with both Adam and the Seraphim, she should have told her. Charlie went into those meeting completely blind. Also, Vaggie was Adam’s top soldier and she couldn’t give ANY warning????? That’s the part of this show that annoys me a bit. It wasn’t simply not telling the truth, it was purposely withholding it to watch the person you supposedly love fail…especially when that info could have been useful.

I find as a musical number Ready for this is underrated. As a song it is not the best written. As a part Charlie’s story and character development it is pivotal. This is Charlie growing into the leader she was always ment to be. The song has really grown in me since i first watched it.

I am sure Alastor actually do care for the Hotel. But he will never admit it, cause of Pride i guess, but as Rosie sad. Words are cheap. But his actions may speak for him. Besides the Deal he forced Charlie into... that will come back for sure, and i am guess what "favor" could it be? Alastor wants the throne of hell i guess. You actually have to go one step further. Not questioning someone's words, not even their actions, but the intentions that move someone to do a certain thing. In other words: Whoever Alastor has a deal with, what does this unknown person gain from helping Charlie? Because I think that's why he showed up there at the hotel.

He gave up on ever getting Charlie's soul, saw this absolute opportunity to catch her weak and alone, and was desperate to just make any deal, with her. So here is more bit about why I think changing Vaggie's backstory is not-well-thought-out and made things messy (Altough it seems like you did not read my comments from the previous reaction's comment section): They use the term "angels can/cannot be harmed" a lot- probably stuck from pre-change. When Carmilla asks Vaggie if she knew beforehand that angels can be harmed, she says no... even tho, she had her wings ripped off, and her eye plucked out, stabbed 3 years prior. Im no native english speaker but Im pretty sure those things count as harm... And neither was done by a power hell cannot posess. Her wings are ripped off by pure phisical yanking force, any strong demon could do, and her eye is plucked by a weapon demons also carry because the stupid exocrists leave it behind for them. She sould have been aware for 3 years now that angels are not invincible. This mess, this contradiction only happens because her backstory had to be changed suddenly and it was not thought through what and how they were doing .

This is the only episode that really bothers me because of this one single thing. Vaggie felt really stupid. Like she held the answer from the very start. Yet she herself didnt realize it. Like she is an angel and got hurt by angelic weapon. Yet she is surprised that angels can be harmed by angelic weapons. Like wtf. You are walking proof of it hapening before. How could you not know.
