Brandon Rogers took the role of Katie Killjoy because of his Bryce Tankthrust's character. So I think they were envisioning Katie Killjoy is similar to Bryce Tankthrust.

That whole thing is just a big beef between family members i guess... Lilith must find something out, maybe Heaven now have some kind of weapon of mass destruction and she try to observe it from the insight and Alastor's as "probably" one of the strongest Overlords is at the Hotel to guide her in the right direction. But he could be the final villian in desguise in the end.

React to boondocks season 1 episode 1 please don't censor it

While I do like the series so far and most of the episodes/songs have been bangers... I do feel like they really rushed into introducing Adam and the whole idea of the next Extermination being on a shorter timer. It feels like this should have been mid-season reveal at the earliest, maybe even season finale (they're already confirmed for Season 2 so saying they didn't know if they'd get more seasons is false). Adam basically outright telling Charlie "Yeah we just like killing y'all, so screw your idea and now we're gonna come back twice a year instead of once" and then shifting to future episodes where Charlie continues to push her Hotel idea despite knowing this kind of makes her look dumb. Not even painfully naive, just dumb. Now I figure they will probably try to address this, but honestly I just feel like this was a mistake in plotting. Saving this for mid or end of season 1 could have at least given us a few episodes to explore the idea of the Hotel and how it could work to redeem sinners, maybe even see some progress... and then have Season 1 finale hit us with this revelation and set the stage for a more conflict-filled season 2.

I'm pretty sure this plotline exists as an in-universe reason why they can't take their sweet time, as you don't know if you CAN actually fully do your story with how streaming is lately. Season 2 is likely, as is with most animated medium lately, just season 1 split into two halves. I could be wrong though, but it's a possibility. You either fit as much as you can or potentially leave your story unfinished, it's all very messy. I also heavily disagree that it makes her dumb, she's prideful and hopeful that she can PROVE it'll work if she can actually build up the proof in the first place. If a pitch doesn't work, tangible reality might- it'd be stupid for her to just give up right then and there just because Adam said so. Besides, her enforcing good ideals and trying to improve people can still exist within it's own right. I have my own issues with the writing but I think the idea that this ruins her intelligence or the very concept of the hotel is wrong.
