I'm just add my own little theory here but I think R.O.A is like a entity that was in the apple of knowledge, the same one in Charlie's story in the first episode of Hazbin Hotel. And now, I think Lute became it's vessel because the virus. (This is probably a stupid thing but idc)

I think your along those lines. But I think it's more so roo was the tree itself. And the seeds of the tree are her seeds of chaos and madness. And I think lute extracted whatever was in the apples or tree or whatever to make the virus. And eventually after being infected for so long you turn into.. well what lute did. Because chances are lute was infected around the time of vaggie so lute has had 2 weeks. Makes you wonder what's happened to vaggie...

I totally agree, actually! Roo chose Eve first, then managed to escape. Perhaps Lute accidentally summoned a piece of Roo when trying to make the virus, leading to Roo having the chance to infect Lute and then transport herself to Heaven and Hell.

Have my own little theory for Alastor, So it’s clear that Alastor is one of the most stable as far a mentalities go, and he seems the smartest. Not only was he able to figure out that this infection is contagious via Vaggie to Nifty, he knew that they needed to be quarantined. Not only that, but Lucifer trusts Alastor to protect the hotel while he figures this out with Heaven. The stress of being smarter and more stable than everyone else, and having the responsibility of protecting the hotel on his hands, there are a lot of possibilities for outcome. Needless to say, he’s going to be a big character in this series.
