@@wilberwhateley7569 Nope, very doubt in this, there is no way, they're just gonna kill love interest of main character in season one finale and end their relationship (also main ship), looking at how big merch is with them and how much people love them on twitter etc. this seems very doubtful that Vivienne would dod that, especially considering that there will be a 2nd season and potentially more after it, it seems even more doubtful, and Vivienne is not the type of person who uses the weak "bury your gays" trope or "sapphic couple - one is tragically dying", it's really overdone by this point by like multiple media and I don't see it happening here, at least not that soon, especially since the show still has comedic elements, Vaggie's death would mean Charlie 100% depressed and it would be strange to suddenly return to something humorous after something like that, it just logically makes no sense to me in terms of the plot. Most likely (my theory), she will actually sacrifice himself and "die" in defense of Charlie and others but only to come back to life a moment later, in one of the OFFICIAL promotional photos, we see Charlie and Vaggie hugging each other and... VAGGIE HAS WINGS! Just like angel wings, and as we know, she has no such wings now, she had them cut off, I won't be surprised if she actually dies, but by some miraclen, she will come back to life, along with her wings that will regenerate. Personally, I don't believe that anyone important will die, despite theories and rumors, yesterday in an interview on the Vivziepop channel with Vivienne, the actors of Alastor and Charlie, Vivienne confirmed that "someone dies" but also said that "It'll be obvious", so in my opinion it will be someone like Adam or Valentino.

@@adalindwens4751 First off, the whole “bury your gays” thing has nothing to do with it - it’s being strongly hinted at in previous episodes: especially with that “I’ll be your armor” line from the power ballad of episode three: the purpose of armor is to take hits so that the wearer doesn’t have to - since Vaggie is willing to do “whatever it takes” for Charlie’s dream, then making a heroic sacrifice seems to be the logical conclusion here (especially given what happened in episode six). Secondly, I understand your point from a marketing perspective - killing off the main ship does also kill off a financial opportunity. That said, there is merit taking such risks: it shows the audience that “plot armor” isn’t as foolproof as it first appears (think about the death of Marion Crane in “Psycho”) and thus they can’t just take the continued existence of a character for granted. This creates a greater level of concern for the remaining characters and thus provides a stronger incentive for audiences to keep tuning in. So such a move is definitely a trade-off, but if done skillfully it can work Thirdly, I have seen the angel-wings Vaggie art too - but I have a different interpretation: I think that Charlie is symbolically embracing the now-deceased Vaggie in a scene akin to a dream sequence - one which perhaps inspires her to do something that honors her memory: perhaps elevating her to an honorary status of “guardian angel” of the sinners at the hotel? In conclusion, I see that Vivzie’s writing team has laid down plenty of foreshadowing in regards to Vaggie’s tragic demise here - paying off on it makes sense from a narrative perspective. Of course, I won’t know for sure until Friday whether they actually do it or not but my speculation is justified by events that have occurred in-universe.

I think the reason people dislike Vaggie so much is because she’s treated like just a gf for Charlie, she’s supposed to be the protector of the hotel but didn’t do any action until the extermination. She never really had her own spotlight, we don’t know her interest, and all the time we get is her yelling at someone. I like her because I believe she has potential and I’m a sucker for sassy good guys. I hope in season 2 they will flesh her out more than just Charlie’s gf who used to be an angel (which is cool but I feel like we need more than that)

There already is more to her character then just being Charlie's gf though. For example, she hates herself and hates her actions as a former exterminator. She seems to have problems trusting other people besides Charlie at first and is quick to act on violence possibly due to the fact she was stripped of her eye and wings by people she trusted. She has self worth issues and ties her only worth to protection. Episode 3 gave insight to Vaggie's character along with Episode 6 and Episode 7. Won't deny her character tends to be very centered around Charlie and being her gf but that's not as bad of a negative considering it fits with her story for Vaggie's character to be so focused on the person who essentially saved her and who she grew to be in love with. People just need to look into her character more. She may not be a complex character like Alastor, but she still is decently written and her character has aspects to it that make her more then just Charlie's gf.

Something I hadn't thought of until the clip of them threatening Sir Pentious. Vaggie's spear is still an angelic weapon, and presuming it's the angelic nature that makes a soul in hell die for good during the extermination and not just re-manifest, that means anytime Vaggie threatened to kill someone (or actually killed someone for Charlie) she was threatening to end their existence for good. Like she would have ended Pentious if Charlie hadn't stepped in.
