Yup. This is how we all did it in 2004-2009. You just take a razor or scissors and cut at a angle down. No barber shop or hairstylist ever touched emo/scene kids hair during our Myspace years. We cut our own hair.

Haha! Well, back in the day, my mom wasn’t either so when I had children, I knew I wanted to be a mom involved in things they loved and music was automatically there so, it was easy! I'll admit my hair is a lot shorter than this but it's actually a style I'd love! I'm emo/goth/punk and whenever I take photos similar to your style to a hair salon they mess it up and I end up bursting into tears as soon as I'm in the sanctuary of my own home. I'm probably going to just give it a go and try out cutting my hair myself but also look at tutorials to get a good look. Pity really how some hairdressers take the original idea a client wants and then messes it up at the moment I look like an utter moron with my hair :'(

I love how you do it without originally having it pre-cut (if this makes sense) Because most videos I've seen they already have they're hair shaped with the choppy fringe and all that, so all they do is trim it, they don't start from scratch. In the description where you said you only wash you hair once a week.. I do too! It's helped my hair stay sooooo healthy with all the heat and products I put on it! :D And your hair is so beautiful btw. x3

I. Going to to this when I get home, I have my scissors there, I had Realy bad curtains and I was sick of getting bullied for it so I started to flip it over my head and slowly started training a fringe after getting into the "style" so I cut it wayyyy to short on the fringe but luckily enough it growled into place and I got told of but my parents soon accepted it so for anyone who's scared" don't worry :)
