You really have to appreciate the narrating on these NHL segments. They could have easily put in like 2 ESPN joking dickheads which would ruin these clips. Instead they are narrating as if it was national geographic. a work of art. well done HBO for not fucking this up.

Sad how Michael Sauer never had another shift after this. I don't vilify Dion Phaneuf. The hit was clean and most of the time, the guy would either get up or if they were injured would only be out for a bit. Unfortunately, even clean plays can result in bad outcomes sometimes.

From october to january leafs were a decent team and held a playoff spot until the brutal collapse from february to the end of season. They weren't bad all season. Plus they are a young fast skating team so anything can happen and as you can see torterella is scared of Kessel
