This is the only show that compares to Breaking Bad. I actually think Barry is better because I’m a huge fan of comedy. I think the comedy is more hilarious when it skillfully interweaves with tense, dark, or sad moments, building up the tension to almost the breaking point. Then using laughter as a perfectly-timed release valve, artfully easing the built-up tension without ever feeling forced or ruining the scene. Like a lot of movies are doing. It's evident that Bill Hader put his heart into the show, embracing the heart of storytelling with an almost poetic finesse.
