That goes double for the last season with TJ Miller on the show. I don't know who was writing for him or who decided to have him go all-in on that douchey style of speaking but it ruined his role in the show. I know Erlich was probably supposed to act more pretentious after he "partnered" with Bighead and weaseled his way into gaining access to his money but I thought his final season was unbearable. But as you mentioned, Jared saved the show. I just watched the whole series last week and it's now one of my top 10 favorite shows. Jared was like a more developed version of Gabe in The Office. They nailed his character arc.

@@UTvasquez84 More than four years since I watched, but I vaguely recall at least one moment, it's just the two of them sitting alone, I feel like it was around the time Pied Piper actually had employees near the end of the series, and yeah, there was a moment where they go quiet and look at each other like they want to kiss... I think Mike Judge was making fun of that sort of thing when you see it in other shows, I think a moment later they both catch each other with a look of disgust or something like that. Again this is more than 4 years since I watched it, so maybe I am misremembering.
