Maybe someone can explain to me, but I didn’t really feel the stakes in this episode. Is projecting the winner really changing anything? Obviously all the votes have already been cast, so it doesn’t actually change how people voted or the eventual result 🤷

Well, due to time zone differences people can still vote in some states while ATN projects the winner in other states. It's exactly what happens in real life (look at Turkey yesterday). Pushing the narative in one direction or another can affect the behavior of people that can still vote in their home states.

@@gabytzugabytzu16 I’ll watch again at some point, but I didn’t get the sense that the call would in any way change the voting. The conference room scene when Ken finds out about Shiv was just television gold. Ken's moment of realization behind the glass that Shiv never made the call. Shiv's repressively panicked eyes moving with Ken's pace as he walks over to Greg. Ken's stare at Shiv when he returns to the room. Absolute peak television. Yes Shiv the liberal savior. Cracks me up how Succession paints conservatives as violent fascists, how predictable of them. In real life modern America only one party: shuts down businesses, fires people from their careers for not getting an experimental shot (including military), wants to disarm Americans, and works in unison with the FBI to censor stories that don’t favor the Democrat candidate in an election as well as spy on certain religious institutions. @@ricardorivera7549 yeah at least Roman is upfront about what he wants, Shiv acting like she’s this great person but secretly working with Matson for her gain is what pisses everyone off. Like you guys are all terrible people stop acting like you aren’t and this holier than thou attitude.

@@Scotty2413 shiv has to be secretive because her brothers barred her from being co-ceo because it looked "cleaner", if roman wasn't co-ceo he'd have to be smoke and mirrors too.

Greg continues to inch his way to the top. Royco is a news organization and Greg Roy* has the inside scoop. S1E1 foreshadowed all of this. *Greg is a Roy in the same way Shiv’s child is a Roy. …Roman has become cartoonishly evil at this point.

I feel so icky watching this episode. It's so surreal after my country's own election night, especially the corruption & missing ballots, that feels all too real. Glad our result was actual progress unlike in Succession.😅

Progress? Progress? Get off your moral high horse…You do realize Democrats shut down businesses, worked with the FBI/big tech to censor election changing information, worked with the FBI to investigate certain religious institutions, forced people to get an experimental shot (or get fired), and encourages people to get abortions/mutilate their children in the name of “pride.” Wake up already, our country is in the gutter. I didn’t even get to the absolutely horrible economy.
