Hill says that getting an organization to its digital future is less about technology and tools, and more about people and culture. For leaders, that means intense collaboration with the people who do understand the technology and tools, being open to having their perspectives challenged, and engaging employees on a deeply emotional level.
This interview part of a series called “The New World of Work,” which explores how top-tier executives see the future and how their companies are trying to set themselves up for success. Each week, HBR Editor Adi Ignatius will interview a leader on LinkedIn Live - and then share an inside look at those conversations and solicit questions for future discussions in a newsletter just for HBR subscribers. it takes decades and a generation to build any culture in an organization ...thats why adhoc interventions fail to change or modify culture. same is true for creating a new culture.

I very much agree with many of the points that has been brought up in this discussion , but i would say in my humble opinion that we can't just generalize the concept of digitalizing a business without taking field expertise into count or consideration because it really depends on the line of business itself , what the professor have mentioned about Pfizer was a clear indicator , and yes it is true ''people fear what they don't understand'' As for women at work in general i believe the time prediction was correct in 9 to 15/17 years from now women are going to be where they want to be and it will end up crashing because of women's nature ''A woman's greatest enemy is not a man it's another woman'' i am not a feminist nor a sexist but throughout the years i have seen way too many facts that has spoken for itself besides i personally don't like to refer to people by their skin color because it reflects discrimination in a way or another. Finally i also believe that we cannot change our behavior before we come to a conclusion that makes us want to change it which makes adaptation and leadership two different things , most people have learned to adapt because they've been told to do so and it doesn't mean that it always makes sense to them. Thank You HBR and i find the next discussion very interesting indeed
