We are all born Followers to our Parents , Leading for me is a choice cause my father accepted himself being lost and I finally realized his story does not have to be mine and now that is the Leader in me. It has been a Journey with lots of dead ends but as long as I continue forward im starting to understand those dead end roads were actually Opportunities to pave a new one and give it a name.

Physically in a company setting real time is where the proof is in the pudding.From where im at my worst is always seen first, my best on this side of device will never be seen, why? No Human interaction in a real business setting. If im an apple I may not want to fall and be seen under the only Tree ive known...😅❤

"Low proportion of women, low proportion of other minorities" women are a majority in all western countries. And if he meant minority in the context of that pool of candidates then saying that you have "low proportion of minorities" has literally no value because the definition of a minority is that there's low proportion of those people.

Sorry, I only listened to 6 minutes, and could not do it anymore. Nothing but vague answers, they don't know what makes a good CEO, and they would not be able to spot one in a room just based on their resume. In the end, they will recommend the person that impressed them the most, just like they do for all work positions. Stop pretending you know, when you don't.

6:33 Conscientiousness > Agreeableness (“execution factor”). The danger of being too agreeable is that you don’t get things done, and you frustrate the people who want to get things done. Republicans (masculine) vs. Democrats (feminine). This is why republicans and libertarians make better managers, leaders, and businesspeople in general. They’re low cosensus, low or anti-bureaucracy, and direct and decisive. Liberals are indirect and indecisive - and therefore need strong masculine leadership. In the end, balance is key, as the agreeable people make the better workers who execute the plans set by the top.

Great points. Curious question, what are your thoughts on JFK as a leader?

@@simonnevermind I don't know much about JFK, to be honest. But, from what I do know, he seemed to instill a sense of hope and inspiration in the people he represented - one of the core jobs of a leader - and was a great speaker. I've listened to a few of his speeches and they were fantastic. He was a Democrat, from what I know, so I'd have to assume he was more of the moderate variety. He also seemed to be closer to Libertarian, in his bureaucracy-busting views, as well as his distrust for large government / corruption. He seems quite similar to Reagan, actually (granted I haven't studied his policies in detail). Although LKY of Singapore was considered to be Socialist by many outsiders, or a "benevolent" dictator. However, I'd classify him as a very strong, masculine leader with very tough policies against illegal drug smuggling and political bribery, for instance. His wife was pretty involved in his activities, and provided the softer (feminine) side. So that provided the feminine balance for the country. Many presidents & leaders have strong woman behind them - they just don't get much recognition or attention, since they're largely in the background.

@@christopherarmstrong2710 Thank you for your insight. I have a few favorite Presidents but I have been intrigued with Kennedy. JFK never had the opportunity to actualize his vision, so I'm left with what could have been? Is it fair to say that you are a Libertarian? Cheers

@@simonnevermind That'd be interesting to see JFK play out his vision. Yes I'd consider myself Libertarian, or socially liberal / fiscally conservative. In recent years with everything moving so far Left, I'd say even "social liberalism" has it's limits, and must be curtailed at times (e.g. I'm against Wokeness, even if all govt. subsidies / funding were removed). Although, the fiscal conservatism part would do much to put a damper on most of it.

@@christopherarmstrong2710 Thanks again for responding. I too am a Libertarian. I believe in the right to be, freedom of thought and expression. I'm very concerned with the current culture that has been veiled on society. No longer is ration and reason the order of the day but we've descended into nihilism (cancel culture).
