The huge momentum shift was when he inexplicably decided to throw the ball a couple of times with 41 seconds left in the first half, and the ensuing sequence took the "mo" from Denver and handed it over to Los Angeles. THAT was the turning point, coach. I'm not a Sean Payton critic most days, but that was awful.

Exactly. So Sean Payton let the Chargers take a win so that he can move up the 2025 draft pick. He WILL NEVER say this to us...never! If that is his part of the game strategy as if he tests his team then he lets go of the gas pedal afterward in the 2nd half. If that is the case, I do not mind grabbing a higher pick over the Chargers as we know they need better offensive weapons, too. That Ladd guy is injury-prone as he is too thin).

Never say never. We beat the Bills last year. Steelers and Chargers aren't that scary. Chiefs are very beatable as we've already proven. We should only be scared of facing the Ravens in the AFC, because they have our number. But have faith. We haven't come this far through luck.

Payton and his staff got out-coached. Why in the world are you throwing the ball on 2nd and 13 from your own 15 yard line with very little time on clock up 11 points and get ball to start 2nd half?… Chargers getting 3 on free kick changed momentum… Plus, they made nice defensive adjustments…. Payton made no effort to run in second half and the defense was non existent. Joseph appeared to take the night off.

yo i dont know if you guys feel the same way but sean payton and vance joseph are holding us back, yes they got us to 9-7, very close to our first playoff berth since 2015 but theyre just holding us back, sean payton is scared to make playes up by 10/11 points and did not do NOTHING to help bo nix and the offense in the 2nd half, sean payton thinks bo nix is drew brees thinking that he can coach him the same way, but he's not. and for Vance joseph, all the games that we have put the oppenent under 14 points were games that we were aggressive with blitzes, had good coverage, now his play calling is conservative and dialed back.

It was a poor second half, but that missed PI on the deep shot to Mims was a game changing miss. Maybe the clearest example of PI I have ever seen, hands in the face back to the ball and solid contact before the ball arrived, ref staring right at it, no flag.
