Hello HCBailly I have watched most of your let's play series, and you are the best gamer ever. You do an excellent work and I have plenty of good time by watching your videos. BOF is one of my best games, and it's the first time i am watching a let's play series the moment you do it, and i will be looking forward to your next video. For people who like grinding a lot, like me, I'd like to point out all of the following: Sr-1, Sr-2, and Sr-4 wear the same equipment as Gobi. Hence, you could buy them Bronze Helmets and Bronze Shields if you really wanted to. As I said last time, Nina would appreciate the Hairband from Drogen, and really would've appreciated the IronRP from Nanai.

I can't look at "PrtnB" and not see "Proton bomb." That wouldn't be right, though. I like the rats on top of the walls in the tower. I'm surprised you didn't make note of them, given your previous comment about small details. It's weird that they're kind of running around inside the stone walls, though, since the view is supposed to be sort of a cross-section of the walls.

You may have played another one of the Breath of Fire games. All of the BoF games have a Princess with wings named Nina, which is a staple of the series.

There is in fact a protein called Protein A, but seeing as it deals with antibodies, I don't think that's where the game gets it from. They're probably just simple classification symbols as "Protein A" and "Protein B," so that you wouldn't get confused to which one you were using.

I didnt know you could use the keys as battle items. I beat the gba version like 11 years ago and never used any of the keys. Now I'm playing the Super Nintendo version and theys will help me a lot. Thanks for the tip.

Well that could've gone better,one gas attack and they're reduced to critical? Man those guards didn't do a pretty good job protecting Nina,especially since she's the one telling them to get help while she distracts the guy.

Actually, it's the other way around. ATK-Up is mostly only useful against bosses early in the game, because it gives a fixed +50 ATK boost. Later in the game, that becomes more negligible, so it's not as useful.

Also, the Hairband is lighter then the suedeHT she wears, and she also gains some of the IronRP's ACT back that way. She doesn't leave the castle in my playthroughs without an IronRP in her hand and a hairband on her head. I used to get her SilkGNs too till I realized Romero's Gown was flat out better. (This is all on top of a Ryu who cleans out the Drogen store before going to Camlon, and doesn't go ANYWHERE in Nanai without a LongSD. Nor does he take a nap in Windia without ChainML)

When I first played this game, I actually spent quite a lot of time fighting that unwinnable boss battle, and took the wizard's health down visibly. I did eventually realise that I should stop fighting and let the story happen once I used quite a few good items already.

Personal preference, I suppose. It remains true the IronRP is her highest ATK power weapon through PRIMA, where she can finally get an EvilRP. The 4 points of ACT I lose equipping it? Well, by the time I have 3 BronzeSH and 4 BronzeHT (the Bronze upgrades...think of it as a roleplay thing, considering the ending...) she's acquired enough extra levels she's not missing her 4 points of ACT. But even I don't grind enough to get her Zom1. Which would MURDER all the bosses at 120 damage a shot.

I always considered M. Drops to be Miracle Drops. 'cause, you know, they do wonders. Also, golden wings? Looks more like lowly brownish wings to me, in comparison to Nina's pure white princess wings.

HCBailly, you should look into playing Phantasy Star IV for the Genesis. It along with most of the other series seems like games you would really enjoy and I bet a lot of your fans such as myself would love to watch as side LP's! Great video as always!

Was it the GBA version? The game has the same exact graphics, only the game menus and the ability to dash were different from the SNES version.

M.Drop also heals status effects, including Stun/death. Quote from the aforementioned Item FAQ: "Note: Restores all HP and lifts Stun for all allies; in battle, the item also removes Doze, Mute, Curse, Poison, Zombie, Stun, and FATE Up before setting FATE to equal Luck, omitting bonuses from equipment. The item is stackable." 11:54 Yeah, and it's possible to run into a pair of them. In that case, you're probably gonna take a hit :/. 19:20 Wanna get through this part even faster? Run. Seriously, the game allows you to run from the Wizard in this fight, and it'll do the same thing as attacking him like that.

Games these days suffer from over detail. There is so much in them you may never find everything. For me, at the least, new games are a chore more than anything, there is just too much to do. I really like indi titles these days, they are making some epic "retro" games. Cave Story, Double Dragon Neon, Mega Man Unlimited, VVVVV, these are titles that are really fun and not so overbloated that I feel overwhelmed and thus loose interest.
