@5tr4nge75Ай бұрын
I mean, she is a literal Olympian. I don’t think most of us are capable of understanding just how massive the difference is between them and “very strong” climbers is. Think about a brand new climber, and the best climber you personally know, the person who comes in to the gym, flashes the entire new set, and then retreats under the boards to actually feel something. The difference between them and an Olympic level climber, is about the same as the difference between a brand new climber and them.
@AnnaNibbsАй бұрын
Dammit. Even though it seemed a bit unfair to put a pro athlete from a separate sport up against a bunch of IFSC pros, it's impressive how well Bob held his own. Shows his all-round athleticism and how fluent he is in movement (also note his recent Fierljeppen exploits). Brilliant video, Hannah and team! Thoroughly watchable throughout. And Erin... My goodness what a beast. 💪

Question from a casual fan: Do Zach and Maddie know each other before this? Seemed like when Maddie mentioned the speed being too fast with Zac, he ignored her saying and said it himself and it seemed rude to me but I'm willing to be wrong or if there's a reason for how I interpreted that 1 moment?

I love this video, great idea. ❤ One idea to make it maybe a bit more dynamic: give everyone a first flash attempt, and then do a round-robin. A top takes an athlete out of the round-robin. If the total time for the boulder is up, finish the round. People can watch and cheer each other after the flush attempt. Additional cool thing about this: you don’t have resting time without someone on the wall. People see all the athletes in short cycles.
