Most of these comments don't even understand what happened. First, this is a cash game, not a tournament. There is no ICM pressure. Second, relative to the blinds everybody is pretty deep. The blinds are 25/50 and almost everybody is 120-130 blinds deep. Third, after everybody calls, MC makes an 8x raise to try and scoop the blinds/calls. This is a pretty bad raise because not only is it extremely polarizing but it's incredibly obvious what MC is trying to do. Fourth, considering MC's 8x raise, Nate's minimum 3-bet makes perfect sense. Even with the minimum 3-bet it's now a 16x pre-flop raise. After recognizing what MC is trying to do, Nate tries to squeeze. Fifth, I have no idea what the hell Kian is doing. If you're folding QQs pre-flop in a cash game to an obvious 3-bet squeeze there are better ways to lose money. Like setting it on fire.

@@laotse_ Kasparov is a legend but chess has evolved since his time, both him and Bobby Fischer would get smoked by Magnus. He is more consistent at a higher elo than they ever were. That's not to say though that they weren't the greats of their time.

The fold of queens preflop at this stack depth looks absurdly bad. As does the fold of an open ender on a rainbow flop with those pot odds and implied odds if hit.

Running it twice dilutes the viewer experience and I find the argument of reducing short term variance to be very weak. If your bankroll cannot survive a downswing then you need to drop down in stakes. 😤
