The Hallelujah Chamber Orchestra (HCO) was formed in January 2019 under the auspices of Hallelujah Oratorio Society (HOS). Being a part of HOS, HCO aligns with the mission of “Promoting Church Music to Glorify God and Edify Man” and aims to hone musicians in the aspects of musical excellence and spiritual growth. HCO began with a dozen string musicians, led by founding director Mr. Peter Yan, playing under the baton of music director Zhang Tong, John. HCO is actively recruiting new members and is privileged to have Ms Kimberlyn Wu to assist as the violin instructor and concert master.
