Why does the corner have to be in the ear cups? It presses on my ears, with the Sennheiser Game One old version that wasn't the case either

The HD 620S earcup is 5mm deeper than what you are used to, so they shouldn't touch.

620s is kinda bassy, if u want close back then u good to go HD600 or HD560s is better for playing piano

Momentum have the more popular exaggerated bass, which I and many others hate. The HD600 has weak bass.

How do I make these sound good? I bought them recently, and am disappointed to say that they sound pretty much exactly the same as my old $80 Sony wireless headphones. I'm not getting any of that "wide soundstage".

The seal is most important to the wide soundstage. Also, make sure the left earcup is on the left side.
