Just bought them and my collection is full now all HD6 and HD 5 line, I have a Question why Sennheiser didnt paint the metal silver vents from silver to Bronze so look nice ??? My HD660s everything is Silver.

Bought it and don't regret it at all. Giant leap over my 1992 HD580. Have tested/listened periodically HD600/650 and believe should named this model 'HD670' - at least, if not 'HD680'. It maybe looks like a modified 660S but sound is so fresh and bass is a 'world premiere' in HD6XX Series. They are comfortable, open with fatigue-free and deep sound, but the have narrow soundstage and need juice as they aren't so easy to drive as advertised. In a word: you get 85~90% of head-fi Nirvana which costs > EUR 2000.

I just got these, loving them but I need a better Dac amp. I currently have the Sennheiser EPOS GSX 1000 and was wondering how the HD 660S2 are when paired with the FiiO R7? Is the FiiO R7 good when paired with these?

These are not gaming headphones. They are 300 ohms, which means they will be very quiet compared to gamer headphones, so you may need a headphone amplifier if you want to use them with your gaming console. But fear not. Headphone amps aren't too expensive, and there are companies that make gaming mics for non-gaming headphones. You may want to look into AntLion mics for gaming. They can attach to any headphone, provided there is a place on the headphone to stick them.

Hello, my wife and I were looking forward to this and bought one 660s2 headset but it was dead on arrival. The cable that plugs into the right ear is faulty and I get sound out of it maybe 10% of the time even when properly plugged in. I have tried contacting support but have heard nothing yet. Can I please get help to remedy this situation? Really just need a new cable but I would not have expected this especially for a brand new in box product...
