@@camoturtle18 We typically publish an online signup ~1 month prior, but offer a standby list at the show- just stop by the booth. We try to accommodate as many as we can.

Nice to see a close up of the amplification module inside the HE 1 headphone unit. Hand soldered as well. A unique aspect of this electrostatic design. Someday I hope we get a modern day successor to the little known HE 60 "Baby Orpheus". Perhaps the production cost of the electrostatic drivers is too high and the market is too small. The achilles heel of electrostatic designs and their requirement of specialized amplifiers. Looking forward to what Sennheiser does in the future.

One of the two limit switchs on the tube mechanism (that tell the unit when the tubes are all the way up) on mine detached. I'd like to replace it instead of just having it resoldered in place. Can sennheiser provide me one of those switches to buy or at least let me know where i can get one? I dont see any identifying marks on it.

Thanks Sennheiser for everything you guys have made me experience trough your headphones. I started my Journey with the CX300 many years ago passing by the HD201, HD428 and after being dissapointed with Audio Technica's ATHM-50 i finally took the plunge and currently have the HD650. I just found out that you guys were demoing the HE1 here in Mexico and i can't make time to go but i have noticed that there will be another event later this year. Already Saving to go and finally get the chance to listen to the World's Best Headphone. Can't Wait!!!

#sennheiser, I am from India and people here generally go for JBL, Boat, Sony, LG but trust me what you guys have made is super impressive. Its costly, but will definitely worth every penny it seems. Will definitely buy it one day and that too very soon.

Speakers and headphones are essentially different experiences and should not be compared in this way. Anyone who can spend $70,000 on a headphone can spend $120,000 on a pair of Sonus Faber Reference or even a pair of MBL 101 Xtreme, MBL reference amplifiers, dac and pre for 500,000.
