Awesome! This is the first video I've seen where you can actually see what the track looks like during the backwards part in the dark. On all other videos shot with standard cameras, the screen is just black lol. It's nice to actually be able to see what's going on!

Man, this ride, let me tell you! First time going to Disney World, I knew this ride would be good. I wasn't expecting this ride to kick seven types of ass! The forces you feel during the backwards part, the big drop, and the helix...absolutely amazing! Easily my favorite ride at Disney World!

I agree, I went here on the last full week of freshman year (9th grade) and I had an awesome time at Orlando Florida. Expedition Everest is my favorite ride ever, and nothings gonna top this, I knew it went backwards, but I didn’t know how fast it went during the backwards part, that really scared me.

For those who don’t know what low light is, it’s basically a camera that can see dark areas. That’s why you can lights under the track.

This is a true marvel of Walt Disney Imagineering. Thrilling Ride with a fantastic environment. You captured this ride greatly btw, I've had allot of trouble finding a POV in 60fps and 1080p and whatnot, so yay! Thanks for uploading this. =D

I remember going on this ride in 2010, and I was terrified when it went backwards because I thought I'd fall out. Went back in jan 2016 and loved it. Also, I was in Hollywood studios when this was uploaded... lol

thanks for posting this expedition everest was an awesome roller coaster I rode it 2013 and it was great but the broken tracks scared the crap out of me I didn't even know it was gonna go backwards and when we saw the yeti tearing up the tracks I was just like "OH GOD but the rest of the ride was awesome this video makes me want to go back to Disney world at the end of expedition everest I wanted to go back on it again but we couldn't cause it was raining but I gave it a 6 out of 10 but great ride hopefully I can come back to Disney world and ride it again

Great roller coaster, I'm just sad the Yeti doesn't work. I went on that ride a few months after it opened and the Yeti animatronic was so awesome, how it appeared to just pop up and reach out to grab you. Disney, when fans start to name the yeti "Disco Yeti" you know you need to fix the animatronic.

For anyone watching this unsure if they wanna go on it or not go on it! I don’t like roller coasters that much and I went on this and I loved it. It’s my new favorite ride. The backwards part isn’t bad at all and the 80 ft drop is over in 3 seconds and the rest is just fun.

when u reach the broken track u do like backwards circles and then u finish with that and the yeti rips off the tracks in like a animation thingy then it sends you forward and when u see the light you do the drop and it’s over in like 2.5-3 seconds

Not very. It's just a big helix. I'm pretty sure the tallest and steepest drop is the forward one just after the backwards part.
