I'm a 43 year year old man and I'm not ashamed to say I cried at this. Beautiful.

+Andy House How can you not love her at any age. Watch the Delilah vevo at Glastonbury, there is a grey haired cool guy in front towards the end. I love It. We greww up in the era of Rock and Roll. Love it until you die. Seeing that guy there made me cry!

Watching and listening to this wonderful version of a life changing song, thinking about the huge amount of strangers, people I couldn't get the chance to meet in 2020. Hugging each other, sharing beautiful smiles and no words needed looks, and feeling the same shit in different hearts, although we don't know each other, but come together by listening to music we all love the same way and share it with each other. I am looking forward to meet you all in another time, another place.

Really? She was off the pitch most of the song. Great singer and performer, but this is not by far anything close to her average performance.
@canadey973 жыл бұрын
@@dalmatae maybe she didn’t mean technically? Idk though, the raw energy and emotion of this performance and the Royal Albert Hall version hits me right in the gut everytime, like instant waterworks 🥲 there’s so much soul and emotion in this version it’s honestly overwhelming, its beautiful. It’s not always about the technique 😀

tears! omg this is amazing... I am happy that our generation has an Artist we can all be proud of and to be born in the height of their career! And not when they are legends and have passed on. Being a 2000's teenager is awesome because we have artists like Florence that other generations can be envious of :)

For some reason, just seeing everyone come together and feeling the music reminds me so much of what the 70's Woodstock was. I'm glad that there are still artists that can invoke such feeling into a song!

Flipping awesome! How can someone not feel this?
@dogmatix4510 жыл бұрын
Possibly because they listened to Candi Staton sing it to perfection.

Yeah, I always "feel it". Normally around the solar plexus, as an immediate prelude to a serious bout of projectile vomiting. Florence Welch, indeed.
@jeffbreazeal629310 жыл бұрын
Funny, if you don't like it-why watch it? Why post on it? Troll behaviour...move on now kiddies
@paulmyers744010 жыл бұрын
Jeff Breazeal So how are you supposed to know you like it if you dont watch it ? My psychic abilities are now on the wane so I had to watch to find out. hoping to hear something good. And are you only allowed to comment if you DID actually like it ?? Bit of a music nazi aren't you ? only your opinion is relevant. Well sorry ( and I am sorry I did ) I did listen to to that out of tune squarking and it was dire pure unadulterated SHOITE . If you are going to try and cover something very very good at least try to do it in tune with a tad of melody. There are two cats who frequent my garden who have more soul.
@jeffbreazeal629310 жыл бұрын
Once again someone who must try and be a suck on something! I like it why must you try and come up with some way of saying you don't and your opinion is more important than mine - talk about being a nazi and trying to shout over everyone else

I love how it starts with an orchestra. Sounds amazing and kind of like she is in a nostalgia which is truly beautiful. But towards the end its not my favourite singing wise but its still amazing because its florence. Also how she didn't burn alive because of the suit leotard thing is a massive question for me. God i love her though.

This performance, I'll admit, wasn't her best vocally. Although it was by far one of the most spine-chilling and energetic performances I've seen from any artist. You can feel the real love in the audience, the electricity. Not many artists can create such an atmosphere, and that's a talent within itself. Those people saying she can't sing, you need to see her Live Lounge performances, or when she performed at the Royal Albert Hall etc. Then say she can't sing, you're wrong. So beautiful
