For Christians who are facing life's trials and difficulties this movie teaches one to trust in Christ, to look to Him to help in daily prayer and trust.

Yes I too need help always , it,s good to ask help in and during an trial But also to keep abreast of Needed time with our LORD. A good model for Christian Prayer in the New Testament is Phil. 4:5-9 , this allows us Greater focus on Our needs as oppose to wants. Remember The keeper of our souls can be Trusted with all aspects of the new life He,s given us.

This is a lovely film, with a heartwarming and encouraging message. The Cartwrights weren't bad people-they simply let the all-too-relatable cares of this world overshadow the fundamentals of shared, humble faith and family love. I particularly liked how the grandfather handled the son's (needless) worry. He was gentle and supportive, while guiding him on the right path. That was so refreshing compared to the angry, dogmatic Christian stereotypes we hear about so often today.

Thus they are under the Mosaic Law while in contrast after the ✝Cross we Christians are in the Church Age are Grace by Faith plus Nothing the Psalms and Matthew are a presentation to know and give heed to there Messiah. The whole Word of God is Good but we need to know what's Good for us now. Thank You.

It was completely uncommon for the Missouri Synod to produce films that were as long as 80 minutes. There is a great 1965 80 minute movie called "A Letter to Nancy". It was produced by Paramount by the same screen writer as this movie. Does anyone have a VHS copy or DVD copy of this movie. As far as I can tell, it was last shown on TBN about 15 years ago but may have been broadcast after that. Their library, Regent University has three 16 mm copies which have some vinegar syndrome but there is a good chance it can be digitized. They will not do it because Concordia Publishing House will not give permission. I could not find the copyright online at the US Copyright Office, however, I have requested a search. It could be that CPH has an agreement about making copies but they will not look for any agreement. This is a horrible. However, if it not copyrighted, any agreement only applies to CPH and who they authorize to make copies but no one else. So that is why I am still looking to see if the movie was actually copyrighted. Please help in anyway you can. I hope to have more information in the coming days.

If you're really someone who holds the value that Christians are supposed to, how can you possibly support the dishonest and egotistical man who is currently in the White House. Quote "When somebody is the president of the United States, the authority is total. And that's the way it's got to be." Only if they are honest and caring and not after their own self aggrandisement and even then "total authority" should be used wisely and with restraint.
