In this video we get the parts back from paint I have been waiting for. If you remember a while back I found a Silverado HD hood to cut, paint and add to my gmc Sierra for a more aggressive look. It is on now and it looks awesome. I also got my tailgate back and so we put it on and added a smooth paint to match handle with a smooth bezel. I needed a new tailgate protector or tailgate cap spoiler so I ordered a GM replacement. GM replacement Caps are about the only option for us stepside guys. I also had to order the screws to put the tailgate spoiler on. Once we finished that I put all new lights in the front. This includes new COPA certified housings. Headlight and side marker housings. I also had to replace a DRL or daytime running light socket. You know me and we had to upgrade to a set of LED headlights with new bulbs for turn signals as well. This truck is looking so much better and I hope to keep going. If you have a nbs gmc sierra or chevy silverado stepside let me know about it. Not a lot of stepsides out there in good shape. Great vid, love the attention to detail on all your builds. I'm currently lowering my black 05 Stepside. I bought the last set of Rd5 GMC 20 x 9. In Canada. Cant wait to put them on . Factory original is the way to go, I recently bought some oem lug nuts for my 07 Ram. Aftermarket ones just didn’t look right and also a tailgate cap and bumper lip, the fit was spot on. Awesome videos as always 👍🏾

Looks much better with factory amber lenses, I’ve always preferred the factory fresh look. Only thing I do different is swap the daytime running bulbs to amber versions, that way when their on with the parking lights it has a uniform amber color all the way across, and I just like the amber DTRL when they’re on by themselves. But looks great either way, way better than what was on there before.👍

That’s how I want my Stepside to look. I need the tailgate cap and the bed caps. Thanks for the link! I lowered mine with the torsion keys earlier 4 rounds. Is that good or should I do another type of lowering? I’d prefer a 3-5 or so and not super slammed. 2003 Chevy 1500 Z71 reg cab stepside.
