ignoring the plot in frozen, the song seems to be about someone who has depression or insecurity or feels like their personality wont fit the people around her (theswirling storm) and hides it by concealing it or being someone else. I would say it is a tale of somebody breaking free from somebody who forced them to hide emotions and finally experiencing freedom for the first time, realizing they no longer need anybody to make them happy or lord over them, they are finally free. At least that is what I think. It is cool to see what everybody thinks of the song because it can relate to personal experience. Such as me seeing it as a tale of freedom. or you seeing it as a tale of depression.
