Maybe it's because I'm a guy, but Yosuke's and Kanji's persona fights definitely hit me the hardest. Being frustrated and pissed off at dealing with things that were outside of my control as well as dealing with changing sexuality were difficult. Especially when people around me, mostly family and certain friends, weren't okay with my feelings. For a while. it hurt a lot, but I'm glad that I've come to deal with those emotions, whether it's letting people go, others changing opinions or finding new friends, I feel a lot better than I did in the past. This game is amazing.

Eh... I always felt that if if anyone else were to join the investigation team it'd be a younger kid who got screwed over by Adachi on some level. Their personality would be some kind of fun loving adventure seeking Daredevil who goes with the flow, but their shadow would reveal just how terrified they are of everything. Terrified and alone, and seeking recognition from someone long gone from their lives, as well as a thrill they couldn't get when they were younger either due to controlling adults or a sickness of some sort.

I actually thought about this myself. What if the only the Shopping District was Saki's dungeon, while the liquor store was actually Yosuke's own. The voices they heard were voices Yosuke heard from people talking about Saki, but had no choice but to ignore it. And the Saki we hear is actually what Yosuke thinks she actually felt about him, but in reality she actually cared about him, the tv world just twisted his fears in a weird way.

The game came out on the PS2 originally on the last year of its existence [2008], when everyone was getting rid of their PS2s to get the PS3 because the console finally started work properly. It's probable that what we saw weren't her 100% thoughts. Think about all the other dungeons you go into: It represents a repressed aspect of a person. Yukiko feeling trapped and wanting to be rescued from her castle, Rise wanting to "show her true self" in a strip club, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if the words we heard were actually the repressed words of Saki, not her actual 100% feelings. Negative thoughts are complicated like that.
